Lolohea

Best game for the club by far.

He looked really good sweeping into our backline at 2nd receiver. He really straightened the attack which was a big reason we were getting numbers.

Through some nice passes and kicks as well. Defensively sound.

Was very impressive today. His late passing was sublime. Never put the recipient under any pressure. No hospital passes.

Hope he can continue it.

He looks to be gaining confidence and finding his partnership with Brooks. Not expecting miracles but he is heading in the right direction, really looks like he wants to be here

He's improved massively since he arrived. Looked good out there today, so did Brooks
Tigers tragic since 1980.

The whole attack looked better today. Ink said last week that there were no bodies in motion or players pushing up in support the last few weeks and he was exactly right.

Better structures today and Lolo did his part to straighten the attack at the line too.

That bombed try though! :roll

Tui looks like he has a tonne of talent. When he runs it his footwork is unreal. It'll be interesting if he can get some consistency to his game and then where he will end up playing.

There were two instances that sum Ink's point up in attack last week. One was in the first half when Liddell made a break and brooks eventually gets tackled after a nice 25m gain. We should have had the titans on the back foot in their 20. Next play we pass it to Sue, who has literally no options to his left or right. There were 8 players bunched up behind the play the ball! Next play lolohea kicks it dead and titans score off the back of that.

Then in the 2nd half we have a 6 on 4 to the right. Only Taylor and big E are pushing up. The 4 other players were 20m behind the play the ball! Taylor looks up and sees no one and has to take the tackle. The attack wasn't set after doing all the hard work. Neither play was called in commentary but those moments change matches.

It's hard to get a good read of things against the Knights, but the attacking structures were organised much better this week.

What a big step up. Last few weeks he has been running across field and today he ran straight and even better was his ability to hold the pass .... I am looking forward to his development and Ivan is the man to build him up.

If Watson comes on board then there is always this possibility for the spine ...

1 Watson
6 Lolohea
7 Brooks
9 Reynolds

Took the line on, drew defenders and picked the right players. Also solid in defence.
He has a heap of talent will be great for us when he returns to a finely tuned athlete over the offseason.

And, the other pleasing thing about LOLO has been his goal kicking
His % is actually up this season compared to his career %

I think the try scorers are making a conscious effort to put the ball close to the post as well which helps..
