We're going a bit stupid in regards to Tedesco now arnt we?
Kevs a better fullback than him? he's gonna fake injury?
Seriously. ...
Let's just wait and see how many games Ted fronts up for our club until season's end. Guessing it won't be many at all TBH. Just an opinion of course.
What would be the motivation to fake injury? I don't see it.

What would his motivation be to finish off the year wholeheartedly with WT? You could make an argument for both.
Just a gut feeling that he will be happy to sit on the sideline for the rest of the year. Why wasn't he up in Newcastle watching his "teammates" play a fortnight ago? I found that odd.
Woods will finish off his time as a Tiger with a bit of dignity and effort. Ted I'm not so sure for some reason.

In this game, wests tigers need to shut down/ get up and in the faces the Manly halves at every opportunity.
Don't let Manly dominate, get physical, and try and keep it up for entire 80 min.
When the game gets fiery, as it will, match them with aggro, if someone ends up in sin bin so be it.

Truly disappointed to see Tedesco named. Think Kev deserves his spot at 1. Tedesco on form shouldn't walk straight back in.
I dont think so.The only spot kev deserves is on a flight to the uk he is a defensive liability

Really don't understand how people think Kev deserves a spot over Teddy. Seems strange logic to me

On form?
He's arguably the best fullback in the world.
Im arguing. Slater and Boyd are ahead at a minimum.
I'd argue it's fair to say Cameron Munster is on that list as well.

Twal will be there for sure.

Can't believe I am saying this but I hope Woods gets through origin unscathed, we're seriously low on quality forwards.

I agree....to some extent. Kev's been performing much better for the Tigers than Tedesco. Kev can actually pass. Though you can't deny Teddy a spot in the team.

Ok, updated team list -

Lovett out.

Twal and MWZ are 18 and 19.

Thinking Twal for edwards or MCK in the final 17?

1. James Tedesco
2. David Nofoaluma
3. Esan Marsters
4. Moses Suli
5. Kevin Naiqama
6. Tuimoala Lolohea
7. Luke Brooks
8. Aaron Woods (capt.)
9. Jacob Liddle
10. Ava Seumanufagai
11. Chris Lawrence
12. Sauaso Sue
13. Elijah Taylor

Interchange:
14. Matt Eisenhuth
15. Joel Edwards
16. Michael Chee Kam
17. Matt McIlwrick

Reserves:
18. Malakai Watene-Zelezniak
21. Alex Twal

Carrying MM on the interchange is costing us and denying Twal.

While I agree somewhat in principle, McIlwrick offers more than both Edwards and MCK, they'd be my first targets. That said, I still think the balance between Liddle and McIlwrick is off.

Agree. Problem is neither Liddle or MM look capable of 80 minutes of quality footy so unfortunately we are having to use both. IMO MM should be our hooker this year with perhaps Elijah filling in when MM needs a breather. Play Liddle in ISP for the last few months to get him used to knocking out 80 mins unrested and get him ready to be our 80 min hooker in 2018.
Twal looked impressive on debut, he deserves another crack this weekend.

I predict: Tedesco to dog it with Kev to FB and MWZ to wing; and MCK out of the 17 for Twal.

i dont think Joel Edwards will be dropped, he can play a lot of mins and i think Cleary is looking to his other 3 players to play a lot of mins as MM will get little mins only

I hate to say this but Twal may just be there in case Woods doesn't play. Same as MWZ for Tedesco. I hope I'm wrong and Twal comes in for MCK or Edwards.

Surely Twal has to come in for Edwards...You'd like to think commonsense would occasionally prevail...
