What stupid comments....woods has been immense, so has Tedesco. If anything guilty of trying too hard.
You clearly only watch when we have the ball
You clearly have nfi if you think woods is our problem. Dominant forward on the field.

Refs deciding games again as usual. Our second half performance wasnt the best but I think we would of held on had the refs done something right for once.

Woods shouldn't be blamed at all, Luke Brooks is our main half he should be controlling the game, he's been struggling his whole career to learn how to close a game out with his kicking game and in the second half he failed to do so once again.

They were both good in patches but also poor at other times. Tedesco is Hayne like. He has the ability to win games but he hogs it and goes for the glory play and puts the team under pressure.

Trying hard is not an excuse for coming up with crud plays. He is a quality player who makes dumb mistakes.

Teamwork is improving, we looked dangerous with the ball today, I wish Woods had stayed!

Woods doesnt dominate anything, doesnt dominate a tckle in D, and you would have to be digging into BBF's stash to think he dominates with ball in hand backing into tackles.

In a 10 min period, he was run through by Uate, turned his back on a quick tap, and then even though Ava will get the missed tackle, Woods never moved laterally onto the ball player which meant Ava had to cross in cover and they pass into Ava's gap.

Woods is a myth.

There is no way he was the dominant forward on the field. He was good. Taupau was heaps better. Woods also has a massive problem with his defence. He is just lazy around the ruck.

When we have the ball.
Thanks for proving my point.
DEFENSE has been our problem for years and Woods is lazy and pathetic in this regard

They need to learn how to manage the momentum - the Storm are the best. Why play on the fifth when the team is ahead? It happens too often. Why not try to get a repeat set? I think kicking for touch was a good momentum play and Brooks and Tui need to get repeat sets.

I guess that being two down didn't help the cause.

Aside from that there are some real promising times. Lolo and Brooks are developing a nice combination and Taylor is always there.

Yeah Aaron played for 80 and was stuffed.....but Luke on the other hand fails to close out games. He just simply doesn't have what it takes.

I thought we really gave it a shot out.

Here are some random thoughts on players that I thought stood out.

Brooks - he was good. He just doesn't seem to have the ability to go all game. He makes way too many mistakes. Heaps of poor passes.
Tui - I think he is possibly as good as Tedesco when it comes to running the footy but he has more to his game. He is a better passer and kicker of the footy.
Woods - he has a great offload but he has so many negatives in the game. Probably the worst defensive prop in the game. It's good that he is going.
Tedesco - great at times. Solid at times. Hog and glory plays that kill us. He could be missed but he isn't worth the huge dollars he is getting.
ET - this guy is consistently good and consistently making critical tackles all game.
Kev - good but another guy who makes heaps of dumb plays. We need better.
Twal/Eisenhuth - these guys both look good.

Its not only his kicking game it's his passing game, his options his whole game.
We went away from what was working for us and that's our playmakers fault.
Then there's those two flat hard passes that are impossible to take, he's got no finesse at all.
I won't mention him losing the ball in front of our posts.

We need a halfback, don't worry about more forwards or outside backs, we'll do nothing next year with Brooks at 7.

Yes that makes sense the guy who coming off Origin plays 80 minutes at prop a few days later makes 200 meters and almost 40 tackles is the lazy one - yup yup yup well obviosuly it is the keyboard warriors who are geniuses their and not the genuine footy experts. Then again Ink hasn't said anything worth hearing since well umm well never so not a surprise really.

Tigers played great today against a top 4 team at home a traditional graveyard for visitng teams.

Can't say their was a bad player and if we play like that every week we would be in the finals

The Brooks knock on that should have been a penalty was the momentum killer..there are some promising signs the early injuries didn't help neither. Woods played 80 minutes after state of origin was a big effort.

We need to be better than that. We are close to having the cattle to compete. We need to close out games and that comes down to getting rid of the dumb plays.

Manly have a really good team. We can compete with them. We need to beat teams when we get into that position.

Woods single handed my dragged us back into that game. Woods played the full 80 in the middle. Let's wait till the stats come out and see who did all the work. Mciwrick missed all the tackles....
