Missed tackles are still alarming

For everyone doubting the loss of Woods and Tedesco, just have a look at the meters made

Sue has been inconsistent and ineffective most games. Surely depth player until contract expires.

These four young blokes did well. I guess Aloiai and Eiso aren't Real young. , still just finding their feet at NRL level.

3. Marsters - 121 metres in attack, 1 try, 1 line break, 1 try assist, 10 tackles, 2 missed tackles
12. Aloiai - 158 metres in attack, 21 tackles, 2 missed tackles

13. Eisenhuth (69 minutes) - 140 metres in attack, 43 tackles, 1 missed tackle

14. Twal (35 minutes) - 104 metres in attack, 24 tackles, 2 missed tackles

Nofoaluma, Woods and Tedesco made a crap load of meters as well.
Ivan "Billy Beane from Moneyball" Cleary!

Ivan is going to have a tough time in 2018 with a lot of options as all the debut players have handled first grade very well in a team under a lot of pressure.

Grant was ordinary for the amount of time he spent on the field. 55m made and 20 tackles.
Twal spends less time on the field but makes double run metres and more tackles.....If we can offload Grant for someone else or send him to ESL i would be happy....serious plodder.

We are still short a decent backrow option and another prop option.

At full strength Grant will be third or probably fourth choice prop. If he doesn't drop the ball, makes his tackles and doesn't give away penalties that'll do me. He's old school. He won't make big metres but he will make tough metres.

Aloiai was massive today. He's going to keep Rowdy or McQueen on the bench with performances like that.

Agree Aloiai was great. I reckon if he can adjust his line running and start hitting outside or inside shoulders he will be even better....his last couple of games back from injury have been really good.
Edwards can enjoy playing in the ESL or Championship next season....if i was him i would try and get a contract with the wolfpack.

Not there for his attack, some of his tackles were great though.

Just as well because it's non existent. 20m in 50 minutes? Come on Willow... He can defend but he's not a first grader. He's a fill in at best.
