I can see McQueen starting the year on the bench with a back row of 11. Lawrence 12. ET 13. Hooth.
Agree with this.

I am most looking forward to seeing Mats in the front row. I think he is in for a big year.
We will smash em 50+ get on.

This 2018 season start is different.

Most years, the team sort of picks itself, established players more or less, irrespective of form - reputation over not much competition in the squad outside the so-called top 17.

But wait - here's something new!
We have players vying for pozzies, and if morale keeps up, the players keep their spots on merit or are replaced by just as hungry players from the 2s.

Not easy to guess the coaching team's sway at this time, re second row, centre, wing etc.

Sure is different!

Watching reserve grade currently - McQueen will be first picked next week. Doing all the one percenters. Fonua strong as well

Did Felise line up in the front row?

Well thats not great. McQueen I can understand taking more time, but Tui should have been owning it. Very disappointing!
Today we saw a true champion in Winx, and a true bludger in Cleary!

My team based off the two trials:
1. Lolohea
2. Nofoaluma
3. Marsters
4. Milne
5. Thompson/Fonua
6. Reynolds
7. Brooks
8. Packer
9. Liddle
10. Matulino
11. Aloiai
12. Matt Eisenhuth
13. Elijah Taylor

14. Pita Godinet/Marshall
15. Alex Twal
16. McQueen
17. Tim Grant

Unfortunately, wasn't able to fit Rochow despite great efforts within the trials. He will be a solid depth player.

Ok, that's all we'll get to see so based on everything I think we will get:

1. Thompson
2. Nofo
3. Marsters
4. Kev
5 MWZ
6. Reynolds
7. Brooks
8. Packer
9. McIllwrick
10. Matulino
11. Taylor
12. Lawrence
13. Eisenhuth

14. Benji
15. Twal
16. Aloiai
17. Rochow/grant/sue

not what I would necessarily want, but close to what I think we will get.

That's what I think we'll see too. Considering how much game time Godinet got tonight he might be a chance of ousting McIllwrick, otherwise yeah that looks like what Ivan will run with.

Personally why not have Lolohea in the 17 jersey ??

Give Benji two weeks in ISP for confidence
