Reynolds. An outsider who will embrace the leadership role. We (Ivan and the bus) are changing the culture of this club from a player perspective. Some might think this is weird having Reynolds as Captain but if you sit down, have a beer and give it some thought, you will find it makes sense.
Its the obvious choice imo.

I dunno, I thought it was pretty poor form when he chucked the ball at his teammate for making a mistake a couple of years ago. The tripping brain explosions don't help either. Not sure he'd actually be able to keep it together when speaking with the refs either, might talk us into more trouble in fact.

He doesn't have to be captain to be an on-field motivator and the heart of the team.

Lawrence should carry the C. There is a lot more to being the captain than inspiring the troops, these days a lot of it revolves around media obligations, referee management etc.

Given Lawrence's injury history, suggest that ET would be back-up/co captain, but there would also need to be other that make up the leadership group including the 2 above, Reynolds, Matulino, Nofa and Lovett.

Put it to a fan vote. Get each member of the squad to look down the camera and state, "It is what it is", then put the videos on the website.

I am an unabashed Lawrence fan and would love to see him made captain but the coach will need to look at the competition for spots and appoint somebody who will be chosen week in week out. I hope that's Lawrence but I'm just not sure.

After Woods we will need to have an assertive captain who will give the players a roasting if they aren't playing well enough and also be able to handle the media and referees in a professional manner - which Woods could not do.

+1 for Lawrence but lets get rid of the one captain style. We need leadership groups with Reynolds, Taylor, Lawrence, a back (nofo? is he up for it) sharing the role. Happy for a Souths model with 5 Co Captains.

That being said. We need a guy who can do good media, who is comfortable in the role. I like Woods as a player but our biggest BIGGEST mistake was making him Captain while this whole contract Saga was going on. He was stuffed in front of the media, his personality and laid back style just did not work with that role at all.

Who is going to captain the club in 2018? Leading the Sharks by 8 points with less than 10 minutes to go we needed an on field leader to galvanise the team , put away the off loads and complete our sets. Play field position and concentrate on defending the last 10 minutes
A coach can send out messages and the players should know what to do but a good leader on the field is the one who steers the team in the right direction.
At this stage i am not seeing an obvious choice either amongst the new signings or those currently there.

It was Eisenhuth who was doing all the talking and calling the players together after the Sharks scored the second last try.

Given those coming, Chris McQueen?

It's not the right choice but I'd have no problems with it. He is one of our best consistently.

Wests Tigers over the past couple of years have literally been a team without a captain. The club needs a captain who will rev the team up, inspire them and awaken them from the slumber. When Raudonikis left Wests to join Newtown he was the player that inspired the team to a grand final in 1981. In 2018 I see Josh Reynolds as filling that role with Wests Tigers. So my nomination for club captain is obviously Josh Reynolds.

I wouldn't mind Eisenhuth as captain but we want an 80-minute captain.

If not Eisenhuth, Reynolds would be fantastic.
I will support Wests Tigers through thick or thin
I will be cheering when they win
I will love the Tigers Till I Die
With loyal supporters we will fly
I love the Tigers with my heart and soul
I just love the club as a whole
If the Wests Tigers believe
We will Unite, Commit and Achieve
