To be competing in 2018 we are going to have to have a very good completion rate and more important a very good kicking game. In the past few years our kicking game has been well below par. The best defence or the best attack will not last long behind a poor kicking game.

I really think Cleary will play a pretty basic game plan for the first half of the season till players start to gell. I think it may be a little bit like Taylor ball. Anyway not long now and we will get some answers

Yeah once we get our defence working well then our attack will flourish. How long that will take is anybody's guess but I'm hoping for around June or July so that we have a chance for finals footy. Who knows how far we'll go??
Time will tell and its ticking as we speak.
Well its nearly time to have a 'CRACK'....Go you :sign:

I think we will average less than 20, I hope it's in defence though, not attack.

Most teams with this defensive average end up in the black for f/a and play finals

I was surprised we averaged so little in defence under Cleary, although admittedly it excludes a game.

For years you would look at a scoreboard after a game and see that we conceded tries in clumps in most games. We're too susceptible to shifts in momentum. Cleary has us closer to an 80 minute team, hopefully that continues.

Lets be honest, our defence has been horrific as long as I can remember :bash

Hopefully we are on track to fixing our defence, otherwise nothing has changed as far as I'm concerned.
