That's right, not to mention the Sharks will probably be a top 4 team half of their backline have played state of origin the only one missing was Gallen....we weren't going to steamroll them like the Cowboys under strength figuring out key positions and combinations ..forget to mention Liddle, who will probably be the resident hooker when back on deck and fit.
Sharks will miss the 8.
 you are right, that would make my year! Can't see it happening though, but we can dream.
Based on that if the Sharks are going to miss the 8 better start praying for us Spud!
I see them as much stronger team across the paddock and if they are not top 8, then we have to be down with the cellar dwellars again.

I'm constantly praying for us Telltails, God knows we need it!

Watching the game again Brooks seems to be really flat when he is receiving the ball before he kicks abit more depth would give him that little bit more time

We are suckers for punishment Spud.
Quite frankly, contrary to popular opinion, I would go back to the days of the "boys club" in a milisecond. Knew what were then, a club that relied on junior talent, which was well represented in FG with a couple of quality players that we were able to snag on the market.
It, for most part was far more successful than the new culture we having been aiming to build since the "boys club tag" -which exists in all clubs on some level - was deemed out of control at our club.
Still waiting for this new culture to deliver, but in some ways all I think it has achieved is us losing our identity.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Gallen as they look a better side without him.
This has been coming for a while. No doubt Gallen has been an inspirational leader for them in the past, but I think he is playing on one season too many. He is too predictable and one dimensional now to be of any great value to a team that is evolving. Should've hung up the boots for the boxing gloves at the end of last season, imo.
The Sharks have no prop depth. Fifita, Prior, Seumanufagai and then? Uele possibly? Or Bukuya at prop? They need Gallen's minutes and work in the middle, Flanno just needs to tell him to disappear once the team hit the red zone because that's where he's a handbrake.

We are going find out one way or another if you can win with 28 capable players and no stars in this competition. No other team in he nrl has g one down this path except the Titans . My belief is we lack match winners and really don’t know how to win . Take of your tiger hat what’s your expectations after the first eight rounds . I expect one or maybe 2 wins

Imagine the carry on if we come out and beat the Roosters. We’ll suddenly be top 4 contenders again. This forum has bipolar.

I second that, Brooks has played a stack of NRL and looks out of his depth, Gamble has not made his debut yet, and if I had to choose one, I would pick Gamble.

Fingers crossed if Gamble gets a shot, it will be early in the season, so when he fails people will stop whinging. Idk if i can handle a whole season of calls for a kid whose played one half of a trial. It’s giving the John Grant hype a run for its money.

Gamble seems to have what Brooks lacks......football sense....

Time for the overhyped playmaker to produce or pack up...I have given him plenty of leeway since his debut.....time to stop pandering and let him start paying back....
You may see me struggle...but you will never see me quit... :D

Never a truer statement this is the difference between a player with talent and a player that stands out ...Brooks can NOT read a game and for a half back this is the key . It is now or never for Brooks the free ride is over !

And I don't know if I can handle a whole season of excuses for a player with over 80 NRL games under his belt, good to see you wrote the kid off already though.

Not writing him off, but I’m also not claiming he’s a savour.
