This is exactly the situation we were hoping for with Ivan signing so much depth , rather than a combination of few stars (Tedesco, Woods, Moses) and lot of fringe players.
The win yesterday was reminiscent of previous sides coached by Ivan Cleary.
in Ivan we distrust

MCK is s goer, but there are better options once we have guys who are back and match fit. Aloiai and McQueen are both in front of him when fully fit.

I love the 'Moneyball' approach of Cleary and we are so solid across the park. We do however, need to sign a couple of stars with X-factor to ensure we can score enough points to win games longer term.

Still think young Cleary is the answer at half back and for consistent goal kicking. A gun Centre and FB maybe (hope Lolo makes it his).

Cant ET fill in at hooker during the game to give the 9 a rest. Seemed to do a good job of it at the end of last year.
Not if he is making 50 + tackles a game. The guy needs a break.

Rowdy won't be going anywhere.
Nor should he after doing his bit yesterday.

I can honestly say that i didnt like his signing at all, very happy that i have been proven wrong. Both he and Godinet did their job well on the field
I agree also i thought wtf when they signed both he and Godinet but what performance to kick off both their tiger careers.
There wasnt really a bad game amongst the whole side.

Aloiai will return next week. I’d play Josh for Chee Kam
How will we run the Chee-kam header set play?

Ku5 Thank you for that. He is a delightful person and I am so happy that he is part of our team. We have a few players in the squad who have overcome some real adversity such as Robbie and the Hooth. It says a lot about Ivan and his trust and confidence in these young men. They are repaying Ivan for that trust. I'm excited.

Chee Kam to centre for mine.
I didn't name him in the centres but it's an option based on Kev's form. Aloiai was our best forward in the Sharks trial and has to be on the bench.

From a misunderstood Row-Chow to a proven Rock-Oh in the space of one match.

Rochow was a huge surprise. He hit HARD a number of times. Hargreaves has owned us a few times but Rochow and Packer made sure he didn’t on Saturday.

Blocker mentioned that the Tigers need one more bopper coming off the bench. Not that I agree w him but Aloiai is that guy (and what an option he is!).
One of my sources is Pascoe

Liddell will make a massive difference to the balance of the team when he gets match fit, means they can carry three big men and Benji on the bench. Would even be better if they carried four big men on the bench, but that will not happen unless one of the halves is injured like at present

He wasn’t spectacular just worked his butt off all game, one of his better games though he was great.
But he still plenty of haters on here.

Can't squeeze them in atm. This is a good sign. And all on a level so the camaraderie is there.

MCK somehow with that unusual running style caused Easts probs when he came on along with Masters on that side.

Gonna be a good year.

Surprised by him. Hadn't seen a lot of him other than some poor form at Souths.

Interesting how the last couple of players to be signed for 2018 both started round 1. Such quality depth.

I didn't have a clue who he was,so focused alot on him,and what a motor.
Been a while since I've felt so comfortable with attack coming down our right edge.
Good size to him as well, and uses well in attack, but a bit one dimensional.

Seemed to switch to the left when Lawrence came off.
