Rowdy
Re: Rowdy
I'm glad someone started this thread because I would have, this guy had to reinvent himself as a footballer completely.
Lost all his pace and shifted into one of the toughest positions on the park, I admit he struggled at times and his lack of pace exposed him at times but he's always given 100%.
He puts his hand up and gets us out of trouble with those incisive direct runs he does week after week, there's times where we look buggered in games and have to work it out of our end and Rowdy is always the first one to get us rolling.
He's the type of player you'd love playing with because you know he's busting himself for the team.
Look who was running that decoy line when Brooks scored the winning try.

Took a couple of telling hitups in the second half when we were knackered.
I hope nobody is underestimating the impact of our backrow in these wins - Rowdy, Rochy and ET playing big minutes, taking dirty hitups and highly effective tackle rate.

Yeah was a great decoy... Without it Brooks. Doesn't score.
He was very solid last night... Very strong

Smart backorder smart lines.
That decoy not only didn't impede anyone but created a huge hole for Brooks. If he ran a straighter line no gap created.
Lots of little noticed off the ball work.

Passion, skill and pace. We can't ask for more from him. I wonder where his extra pace has come from? Something over the pre season?

Like most of our pre 2017 players he is benefiting from the new regime in 2018 and it is showing by his llift in intensity and performance as a leader . You can see it in his eyes and actions. Just imagine how demoralizing it has been for him over the past 3-4 years and how rewarding it must be to have stayed loyal and have a chance to finish his career in a winning team
