10 offloads between Nofo and Masters was huge. They don't always produce results but they constantly disrupt the set up of the defensive line. Twal had an offload tonight and it's good to see him gaining confidence.

Doesn'took right eh?
It doesn't, however I think their biggest contribution to the team is their defence .
They make the tackles that count - I reckon Matulino especially has produced a number of trysavers already.
He looks like a different guy to the one running out for the Warriors last year.

One other thing is we defended a lot in the time Mats and Packer opened the game, then worked the ball out of trouble. Not sure how many hitups in good field position they had?
Then they came back on and Mats got binned, so 1 was off and we defended that entire period too.
The late-game work from Packerlino got the result.

Rochow missed tackles 8 is a little concerning
The Huth... the Huth... the Huth is on fire

Brooks 1 missed tackle - he really has turned things around defensively. The effort from Twal and Eisenhuth off the bench was huge. Holding Melb to only 89 mtrs kick return is amazing - a lot had to do with Marshalls kicking game.

I hardly SAW JAC or Chambers at all last night and last week we kept the Chooks danger men quiet. I think our defence is forcing opposition into playing away from their strengths

Benji and Brooks seemed to attack the short sides early and it seemed to keep the storm wingers on notice, could be a coincidence but seemed to keep them from roaming around as much as they usually do.

Terrible. I had to join supercoach to get some decent stats.
Would like to know how many minutes Aloiai played. He looked good, but not for long.

I wonder if all these supercoach etc games have anything to do with this.
I recall reading a while ago the NRL weren't happy with their stats being used
The NRL stats last night had us having 65% possession when Storm had 18 penalties, lolinnsaneink wrote: ↑Sun 18 Mar, 2018 12:18 pmI wonder if all these supercoach etc games have anything to do with this.

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse

You can get good stats here - http://mc.championdata.com/nrl/
Go to the game and select Wests Tigers grid to get pretty detailed stats (although you still don't get minutes played!)
Once the round is completed you can get minutes from http://www.nrlsupercoachstats.com/2018stats.php
