Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary says his side are looking forward, not back, as they chase their third straight win this Friday night against the Broncos.

Following on from their thrilling win over the Melbourne Storm last weekend, Cleary said while the signs were positive for his team, it was important they continued to move forward and not dwell on the past.

"We've delivered on the things we've practiced and tried to be good at, which is good," Cleary said.

"That doesn't mean you're always going to win and obviously our games have been very tight, but we've played out the 80 minutes which gives you a chance.

"It's going to be on again this week against one of the most successful teams of the modern era, so we're going to have to do the same sort of thing again to give ourselves a chance.

"The boys are playing for each other and valuing the fundamentals of the game.

"Defence is part of that and it's our job now to keep that up. It's no good to do that for a couple of weeks; we've got to keep doing it. It's got to be part of every day and every week."

Cleary also enthused his excitement to play at Campbeltown Sports Stadium for the first time this year — recognising the importance of a positive performance in front of the home fans.

"We're certainly hopeful of a big crowd tomorrow," he said.

"Part of what we're trying to do is deliver performances that are consistent and that our fans can feel like if they've made a commitment to come and watch the game, then we're going to give them a performance they can be proud of — that's one of the things we're trying to do.

"So hopefully the locals down there at Campbelltown can come out and support their team."

My instructions if I was Cleary is that Tevita Pangai made a statement last week and we have to throw cold water on it, I'd be aiming up on him and not giving him an inch, get one of our enforcers to get stuck into him straight up.
Next would be Milford, and all you can do with him is present a solid line of defense, no one rushing him or doing anything silly because he'll make you look silly.

Stop Pangai jr and you go a long way to stopping Brisbane, they are lacking an experienced leader in the front row, no doubt Pangai is trying to become that person.

Gillet is their man. He's deadly and could well be the difference
