Speaking of him, Paul Kent has him as one of the worst buys of 2018.
Thank you Paul Kent for proving again you have no idea about footy.
I meant Woodsy not Packer
Thank you Paul Kent for proving again you know heaps about footy!

Josh Reynolds is expected to play his first game in Wests Tigers colours this weekend after being given the green light to return from a hamstring injury against the Manly Sea Eagles.

Reynolds hasn't played a game this season after picking up an injury on the eve of his side's opening round clash against the Sydney Roosters.

Tigers coach Ivan Cleary will name Reynolds in his 21-man squad on Tuesday afternoon and will have to decide whether to start Reynolds on the bench or tinker with a winning formula.

Benji Marshall and Luke Brooks have been outstanding in the opening five weeks of the season, leaving Cleary with a huge decision to make ahead of the round six clash against Manly at Brookvale Oval.

Reynolds has spent some time at hooker previously, and Cleary had always planned to use him in the No.9 role at some point throughout the match before he got injured.

However he could also reshuffle his side and move Marshall back to the bench to accommodate the return of the club's marquee signing.

Lock Elijah Taylor has also been struggling with a hamstring injury and is unlikely to return in time for the match against Manly on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers will also be without prop Russell Packer, who picked up a MCL strain in the victory against the Melbourne Storm in Auckland last week.

The Tigers originally feared Packer had suffered a season-ending injury, however scans later revealed he now faces a six week lay-off.

There has been plenty of 3rd party reporting on Packer's injury but, as yet, no formal announcement from the club. I find that rather odd.

I wonder if it was just a bit too much for his knee due to the extra work in the middle (with ET being out) + a short 5 day turnaround.

No if you watch the video he got taken out by Jacob Liddle, when they were both making a tackle.

Wests Tigers. Com must not want any bad news on their Web.

I wonder if it's a conscious decision... marketing?

Sick of all the doom and gloom over Packer not being available.

Yes he has been fantastic but we have played as a team.

Its a great opportunity for Aloia, Twal, Sue and Eiso to take on a bit more.

Taylor back soon, Reynolds back this week.

Onwards and upwards, screw the media experts
Its an opinion!

Thry may be waiting on more testing or first rehab session to gauge the length of layoff.

Yeah true , but he made a couple of tackles after that , and the tackle he made where I had assumed he'd injured himself he had to move laterally and was showing no ill effects or limping
