Aaron Woods

Post by Demps » Mon 21 May, 2018 10:36 am

Let's get it, the kennel boys are probably lurking.

Anyone see this fat clown help the sharks get three tries from his sheer stupidity and terrible performance? I know you were watching @InsaneInk

Trying to milk penalties and getting penalised in the process 😂

I don't remember Woods being this bad when he was at the tigers but as they say, when you lay down with dogs...

Aaron Woods is no friend of the tigers. The way he tried to clown us in the media and say he wanted to play finals footy, etc... Baffoonery. You will never have a premiership ring whereas the tigers will be getting their second trophy within the next three years.

Who cares.

Why are we talking about Canterbury players?

Let alone a thread.

He looks miserable.

He does look miserable and on the field he just can't do a thing right.

I actually feel for him.

I remember last year Tim Mannah held the record for most games among current players without a finals appeareance (or since their last appearance). Since parra made the finals last year, woods must be close to being the new record holder
Year of last finals appearance:
2018 - Roosters, Storm, Rabbitohs, Sharks, Panthers, Broncos, Dragons, Warriors
2017 - Eels, Sea Eagles, Cowboys
2016 - Raiders, Bulldogs, Titans
2013 - Knights
2011 - Tigers

Hope your last sentence comes true.

Also hope he has a shocker because he feels guilty for the way he carried on

I feel for him a bit too but that's because I don't think he is smart enough to know any better

He still had plenty of time to think about his decision so he needs to suck it up

Not a shot at the thread Demps , but if the players take the Bulldogs as easy as some on the Forum are taking them we will be in for a rude shock

This will be a tight game , their forward pack will match up well with us

Klemmer ,Woods ,Jackson , RFM if back

I'll be happy if we get the two points injury free and move on to the following game

I think the majority of us were hoping to see him fail, but not even we could have hoped it would backfire this spectacularly. He’s in the exact same position now at the Dogs that he was for the last few years with us. His team constantly in the headlines for the wrong reasons. Coaches sacked, ex coach suing club, racism on the board etc. And now they have no cap to operate with for at least the next 2-3 years.

Explain to me how the situation he is in now, is any different to the one he was in here? I’d be miserable too.

Martin has been good for them as well. I actually like the look of their starting pack now:

8. Klemmer
10. Woods
11. Faitala-Mariner
12. Jackson
13. Martin

...or Martin on an edge with Jackson at lock. Their bench is still a bit ordinary with Fualalo, Elliott etc. but the starting pack is good. Lots of offloading ability that we'll have to watch out for.

He is a good player Nelson , had a mental blank with his name

JMK has been a good acquisition as well , when you look at what they are probably paying for him and what they are getting out of him

He reads this forum, see what YOU did to him Gunner.
The reason he's playing so poorly is that he keeps saying to himself "What have I done".
You will be able to have a big bowl of weeties with all the spoons you get at the Dogs.
it is what it is.

Woods was the best forward at the tigers..... Arguably.
He is the weakest link in that pack at a team who is struggling hard out on and off the field.

How the mighty have fallen.
