On this years form he will be the 1st prop picked next year.
Not quite sure what is happening with our front row ..... seems from the results I read over last few weeks ..... we are (once again) getting dominated up front.
Dissapoining but predict better results for next year. This year for me is “early work in progress” ONLY!

Some great surges yet again... Reminds me of a good Dave Taylor (meant to be complimentary)

In fairness, though, both played better than the beast. In fact, Matulino played pretty well in my opinion.

Imo he's been better than Matulino and Packer all season.
Haven't been impressed with Matulino at all even though he was slightly better today.
I'm starting to feel the same about Packer, just not dominating in defense or attack.

we get much more 'value for money' from Eisenhuth and Twal than Matulino/Packer,
we need another aggressive prop (e.g. Blake/Nafa/Paasi) and 2 aggressive 2nd rowers.

This kid has been solid all year. He would be one of my favourite players at the club.

Extend him, at least its one 'top 17' spot we don't have to worry about...

I named him in the front row for next week, but actually think he should be playing 80 at 13. He played 80 every week in reserve grade and always made 50+ tackles. He is a machine. He will lback up the middle for 80 at lock. We just need to find 2 front rowers to go with him.
