10367....? something like that.

There was no atmosphere at all. And, that was right from the kick-off. Not just the final pathetic 20 minutes of the game.

It was a cold, miserable, uninspiring afternoon all up. I just don't know what the club has to do to get people to turn up at CSS. And, I'm a local (ish)!

Maybe they never will. Smarter brains than mine are going to have to think that one through.

The club has to establish itself with playing at one home ground ..this is not a joint venture anymore . The West’s group have to make this decision and as quickly as possible ...give the players a home .., give the supporters a home PLEASE!

The atmosphere against Brisbane was Ok ...... but whether the club does enough to promote the game in the region only the locals can answer.

I’ll go back. Like the ground.

Better scheduling is needed to get people there, earlier would be better. I got home to the inner west at 7:30. The little guy fell asleep on the train. Not to mention it’s warmer when the sun is out....

Small crowd for a sunday arvo.As much as i dislike the thought of playing at parra making that our main oval 8-9 games and LO 3-4 may be the way to go.

Couldn't agree more. I've been going to Campbelltown since 2000 and am still trying to warm up after freezing there today. In the early years it was great going there. But it just doesn't seem like home now. I was worried about the crowd when I got there just after 2pm and was surprised at how close I could park to the ground. With three grades on and being a Sunday afternoon game, I thought they would get a good turn out. There wasn't 10,000 there today unless 3000 were in corporate boxes or hiding somewhere else. I actually felt bad for the kids who put on that massive dance show at halftime. They were outstanding but performed in front of a tiny crowd. You could count the people on the hills at either end. The atmosphere was terrible. As a member I sat in the grandstand surrounded by Canberra fans. Its probably the easiest of the three home grounds to get to from where I live. Plenty of parking, public transport, clubs, pubs and restaurants nearby. The ground has good facilities. But for various reasons, sadly it doesn't work as a home ground anymore. No idea how they get people to the next game there as I think that is a Thursday night game.

I like Campbelltown as a ground. It has a good balance with facilities, is close to the club, train station right there, parking is good. However, I can’t remember the last time we pulled a semi decent crowd there. If the season keeps sliding like it is the round 24 Thursday night game against Manly could be tragic. I really don’t know what the club can do to get people there apart from having a winning side. However, even when we have been looking good crowds haven’t come flocking in.

They do that at every WT's home game to increase the crowd figures as the kids' parents are forced to attend. Otherwise it would just be lots of '80's music and an annoying ground announcer with a faulty decibel meter.

The whole western Sydney thing is a sham.
The people who live there support a multitude of teams and don’t turn up.
This is an astute observation.
Much of the population of the greater Campbelltown region have moved to the area when starting out in family life - just married, first house etc. People of this age have already determined their team allegiances and are unlikely to change them when they move. I did it myself when I first got married.
Realistically, I think it will be at least another generation before we have a majority of WT supporters in the Macarthur region - and that's based on their parents not moving back out once they're financially established.
Suffering supporter since 1967

I have ANZ membership, but have been to every WT home game this year at LO and CSS...we only got ~12k at the Broncos game at CSS which was disappointing considering how well we were playing at the time...to get only 10k on a sunny Sunday arvo is poor....I remember Grant Mayer throwing in the towel about poor Cambo crowds, and I’m afraid the fans in SW Sydney have spoken with their feet...it’s time the club made some tough calls on our home grounds..and decide on a single ground

I think the majority of ccs games are also televised on free to air... I guess ppl choose to sit in the comfort of their homes to either watch us get flogged or dudded by refs when we actually do play well... at least they can drink full strength to pretend it didn’t really happen

This will piss people off however to me it feels like the heartbeat of the club is in the Inner West.

Ashfield Leagues run the club. We train at Concord. We get most Support and win more at Leichhardt.

I dont know what the answer is but moving out there full tine would be the death of the club for me.
