Canberra are seriously such a mediocre bogey team to have. Like how do you consistently get thrashed by a team that are so inconsistent?

There are not too many waves in Canberra.

Big forwards that know they can get an easy win if they bully our smaller pack. So, they always get up for the games against us.

I'll be surprised if we get close to Canberra on Sunday to be perfectly honest. We just don't match up well against them. They have us for size and power in the forwards and they have us covered for speed out wide. We'll need to be "on" to beat them and they'll need to have an off arvo.

Thanks..I'm more confident now as this was you thoughts prior to both the Saints and Souff's games..
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..

In 1976 there were heaps when about 500 of us sweaty Friends of Earthians cycled down from Sydney and all jumped into Lake Burley to cool off before protesting - it was ruddy winter too. But I loved Ink's flowery language he sounded like a true Byron Bayer New Ager - closely related to Balmain Basket Weavers.
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

Our last 4 games to the Raiders all loses

12-48
46-6
10-52
60-6

Points total 206-34..

9th Aug, 2015 was our last win against them which was 18-20

Need to get the win this weekend.
In chronological order the differences are 36 points, 40 points, 42 points and 54 points - they are getting worse. would 18 points difference against us be considered an improvement?
That's reverse chronological order. If we continue improving at this rate, we may actually beat them in a few years time...
I've been a member since 2012. We last played finals football in 2011. Just saying...

Sad to say I think you may be right on this one, especially with the distractions of the Ivan Cleary coaching Penrith circus going on. I think we can scramble well against structured teams but not so well against off the cup teams like Raiders, Penrith and Warriors (all pretty big losses this year). At least we won't make Jarrod Croker look like Mark Gasnier this time

We were their bogey team and they are one of only 4 teams we have a positive W/L record against (with the cowgirls, gummies and worriers).

Obviously a few years ago they decided "enough was enough". Eventually will be our turn to thrash them again. Hopefully starts this week.

Should be a good contest this Sunday with our coach and players united and focused on a single goal. You can’t make this stuff up

I'm glad enough is enough..it's a relief..
You can crack open that bottle of Penfolds “ Grange” that you’ve been saving in 4 weeks !
I'll be in Tuscany..
Weird name for a cell , or is that your cell mate's name

With the injuries and all the press going on it is going to take some sort of massive turnaround for us to get the points

Any truth Hodgson could be out with a rib cartilage injury ???????????

I'm relieved the line in the sand was drawn with four weeks to run...
