running out onto the field without a half back, then playing the half back at hooker from the bench ........ oh and once again leaving fresh legs on the bench in the form of brown while our fowards tired at the back end of the game ... really this is getting ridiculous ....

we had another four sets on the roosters line after this. yes it was a horrible mistake, but this wasnt the turning point

Like others our fate was delivered on tuesday night when Sheens decided to pull names out of hat again. You cant win football matches at any level if you continue to swap and switch your players around. Its a team game built on team work and that all goes out the window when your coach plays games on selection day

What a load of crap. How did the Roosters win then with there shuffle? They moved their halfback out and their fullback to half and their winger to fullback, and they had other players injured all game. Wake up, injuries and shifting is footy.

plus going for 2 penalty goals in the first half there when we had them on the ropes as well
Yep, that moment changed the game. Should have been a Tigers penalty.

the big difference is that carney has played for country in the halves and minichello won the golden boot whilst playing fullback.

The game turner was the Fonz. I am sick and tired of Tims Sheens and his shocking decision making on players positions, selections, recruitment and strategies. The cold hard facts are this, Time Sheens has made the Semi Finals once in thirteen years. That will become once in 14 years now if he ramins at the helm for the rest of 2010. He must be sacked now.

TRue true true...how on earth does the Coach expect the team to perform well when there are so many players playing out of position????

the roosters turning up for the second half.
not being able to score any tries with the amount of possession wests-tigers had in early in the first half.

And Farah has played Origin and for his Country. Smith plays half without excuses. Its a winge to say a star cant play one position to the left when they have done it before. Especially when you are using that as the reason for losing.

Carney is a natural five-eighth, and Minichiello is a natural fullback. Not even comparable.

Farah at half failed in 2007, but we needed to do it again just to prove it twice.

Groundhog day.

The fact that with 20 mins to go we had that much possession within the Rorters 20 it wasn't funny and still found every way possible to not score. The Rorters were just about handing us the game at that point and we still couldn't score points.

That said, I still thought Rhino played out of his skin today.

Their winger was a x Aussie no1 and their no 7 had played most of his life in that position, a pretty dumb comparison.

Yes that's true....Why does Smith play them at fullback and wing normally then....When Pearce is at half...

Do you think if Moltzen was available or Lui was available or Taumata had played a game in a month or Lazarus had played more than 5 games in 2 years ...Farah would still be at half.....the proof that he picked Waters shows how desperate and divoid of ideas Sheens is hey.....

I'd give Florimo a go against Souffs...he's got red hair....

your right it is groundhog day....

I think if Lui didn't get injured Moltzen would still be at fullback and would have never been moved into the halves.

That's how much of a stubborn old fossil Sheens is.
