Very solid in his first FG hitout for the year. He's bigger than last year and it's all lean muscle which is what you want. Tips the scales at about 102kg but I reckon he'll easily end up playing at around 106kg in a year or two. He normally runs wide of the ruck where he can get his arms free and offload but he was pretty good doing the hard yards running off inside balls back into the ruck tonight. Defended well too. Has to stay on the bench as a backrower IMO.

His workrate in defence should see him lock down a bench spot comfortably. Fifita was contained well tonight and seemed a little lethargic/sluggish out there.
QUOTE WestsTigers:"Fitzhenry is a very experienced player and will assist in providing leadership to the younger players in the Wests Tigers squad"

QUOTE Tim Sheens:"We owe our fans an apology for that today"

QUOTE Stephen Humphreys:"it was important to secure Fifita for a longer period"

..... Is here to stay. Fulton's injury may be a blessing in disguise. Why did we get Fulton back when we have quality backrowers like Dwyer???
This guy is Origin material in the next few seasons. We can build a great pack around 5 guys IMO: Fafita, A, Dwyer, Murdoch, Woods and Shirnack, J.

Steady on....Liam has been of our best players this year so far.....don't kid yourself, as so as Fulton is fit enough, he is back faster in the side than you can say "Gesundheit".....though Dwyer does look the goods

What we don;t need is Fulton and Flanagan in the same 17 as they are both small backrowers. Same as when we had Fulton & Halatau.
Personally I think Flanagan is the one who should miss out.

Yeah, Student has a point there. I think we should start debuting some young fowards now, so that we can get a better idea of who we want in our pack in years to come.

Dwyer is good go foward prop who is an equally as effective defender. I thought he also showed some good handling skills i thought, after getting crap inside passes from the likes of Marshall and Farah.
With Wests in the finals, ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE

Dwyer is not a prop, he's a second rower.

No he won't, he likens Dwyer to Bradley Clyde and he will justifiably keep him in the backrow.

Yep, Dwyer's arms are massive. He certainly wasn't as big last season.
