I see it as a positive match, it was tough, we leaked points but we kept coming at them all day. Tigers need to keep playing these games to get better. It just highlights the importance of winning all those close games. Just like the Dragons, it will teach us a few things and we should make adjustments to our game plan accordingly, the point is to learn from games like this.

Manly played a powerful game today and i thought they were impressive. Just need to hold the defence line better. And work as a collective team. We got dominated and still scored 20, I think that says something too.

Cheers

Wow, well done Ron, last week you make a goose of yourself by writing how glad you were we were getting pumped AT HALF TIME, and the boys came back and got the win. At least this week you waited til the end of the game before writing your standard rant.

As an aside, how did that 'puss' and 'heartless tool' Galloway play today? I thought he was probably close to our best.
You really have no clue do you?

It's almost like Sheens has given the worthless little gnome the reigns for the rest of the year to pratice for his St Helens gig.

To me, we are not a FG side at the moment, our attack has slipped, and our defence against Manly yesterday was almost non existent, we were a second rate side. We hear Mr Sheens say we "still have work to do" this should not be the case at this time in the season, we should be primed and on our game (and be able to kick goals) sorry I had to throw that one in !

I'm with you balmainbug. We need to run the ball towards the defence not sideways as seen so often, and as such our backup players are just smashed into the ground when they receive the ball and the attack dies there. Also our forwards run back into the defence and bang attack is stopped again, however Fulton/Farah runs into the defence looks to off load and most times does and this keeps the play going.I'd like to see the other forwards do the same.Manly beat us because their forwards went forward and it took 3 or 4 of our forwards to put the Manly forwards down and in some cases sadly we didn't.We need to address this pronto.I hope Benji gets his kicking boots back asap.....

Marshall running across field calling inside runners is working as well for us as when Sheens had Prince doing exactly the same rubbish in 2006.

He is a old man seemingly bereft of new ideas

well drilled clinical sides who rarely make dumb mistakes like we do... if we come up against either of these teams in the finals we wont go far.....
Um....Ron.....you do know we have beaten one of those "well drilled clinical sides" already this year?

manly and the dragons are forward based clubs... they are highly clinical sides but you need to frustrate them by showing no respect and doing that by throwing the ball around... they both like to set the tempo and when there not they go to mud... look what parra did to them last yr.... if things stuck better yest. we would of blown them off the park.. we had them at sixes and sevens when we held the ball.... I know there game plan has a higher percentage of winning but when we are on.... we are unstopable....

there is no denying it was a dis-appointing performance.
when it's all said & done, just need to get it right for the next game.

he has had some very unfortunate injuries yes. up until both injuries he was playing great. just like his last injury it has taken sometime for him to find his feet which he is now doing.

maybe the problem ron is u keep comparing him to the top props of the game... they all play different styles and are used different by there coaches....
