There was one instance that typified him for me today,. we put in a downtown kick, Ellis, Fafita and Skando were the first on the scene, Ellis and Fafita both went for the big hit and clean missed, Skando who is a couple of yards slower than them went for the sensible play and completed a beautiful legs tackle.

He's not playing this year to prove anything, he is there to help his teammates. He does this by doing his job and doing it well.

The young bloke from the 20s - Begovich reminds me of a young Skandalis.

x3, no nonsense and pushing for a place in the top 25 next year which he may well get if he keeps going the way he is.

His stint was good quality today. Got us some decent charges and quick play the balls.

Agreed Eddie. I have not been a fan of his inclusion, but yesterday (unlike his previous two games) he was quite good. His quick play the balls were very noticeable. Very happy to eat some humble pie on this one.
