Payto always finds that extra gas in the tank to make those match winning plays! What a champion!

Sheens said on ABC grandstand that he thought Payten was the best player on the field today. Said he asked Todd to lead the forwards and keep Moi Moi quiet and he thought he did that well. It was a huge play for him to be scrambling at the back to knock the ball dead when Tahu was about to try and pounce on it.

not too many props would have been able to launch themselves like he did, or be bothered, to save that try. there was mm in it. a game saver

That dive to bat the ball dead to save the game, that is inspirational football. He has always been a smart footballer and to get back and see him saving the day was no surprise.

Also props (pun intended) to Big Red for chasing Hayne the whole way at minute 80 and running him off the ball (tackling him).

Todd is one of my favourite players. He leads the defensive line speed each week. That's what we miss when he's out. Champion performance on Sunday.

full of skill doing all the little things.

has he kicked a field goal yet?
