even in that scenario a perfect kicking game from marshall would still see us lose by 4
And we finish 3rd instead of 4th
ahhh i like your thinking!! :)

i doubt the panthers are going to lose to the sharkies, as good as their defence has been recently, i think the panthers will steam roll them. Hope not.

I think we are the most deserving team to be sitting in 2nd position, panthers and titans have been faders in recent weeks, give it to the team who have been putting their all leading to the finals. Just my two cents :)

Titans lost one game after winning 5 on the trot. A bit harsh to call them faders

Does that mean we scored 5 tries ....giddy up...

Suddenly our backline doesn't look to have too many points in them....I hope Meaney comes in but this game is for the pigs...

Geez I hope Liam plays and tackles his ring off...

Meaney has had a few raps on here, but i have my doubts about him to be honest. However, i would love to see a cinderella story here, where meaney comes in and does a great job both as a fullback and a goalkicker and proves to be the missing link we've been searching for. One can only hope.

As long as Fitzhenry does not start, I don't have any issues.

I believe we will see Meaney at FB, Brown at centre.

Well thats rotten luck , losing players at the extreme important part of the season.

Bet Fults will play and Meaney doesnt even make the team in favour of Fitzy then it will be real Shifty Sheens....
This game is a real test of our character as a football team. Lets see if the baby tigers can get us home.

Meaney will not be goal-kicker for a one-off game prior to thge semis regardless of if he does get a start!

That would be great for Marshall's confidence in the coming weeks when Meaney is back with BRET - morons!

is that at everyone endorsing meany as goal kicker or just at the coaching staff?

This will give us another chance to see him.

Brown in the Centres wont be that bad.

Chin up Guys - We are still a real good chance at 2nd after 26 rounds
Another chance , your right, as most of us blinked and missed The only time Sheens gave him a chance in the dying minutes of the Bulldog game at ANZStadium.

Matt Ryan in for Fitzy and it's complete

Well Sheens did say that we will go nowhere in the finals without a specialist fullback...

With Mckinnon gone lets see if he was true to his word...Meaney must start at fullback if that's the case...

Fitzy will start at fullback, Brown to the centres, Meaney to get 2 minutes at the end if he's lucky.

Just watch it happen

I tend to like the makeup better with Brown in the centres and Meaney at the back. Daniella's defense still concerns me whereas I think Brown is a bit stronger there and also much better in the air and on kick returns. Meaney's attacking football should makeup for Daniella attack.

That said, I dont think Sheens is giving away too much. I noticed Seti Latu is back from injury this week. Is he a chance considering he's been promoted recently. Was Meaney still injured when Latu played 1st grade?

I think I'd move Beau to FB and put Fitzy on the wing and keep Meaney on the bench.

Its a no brainer IMO - Meaney to FB, Brown to Centre, Fitzy on the bench.
