I think today Dragons showed how to properly use their home ground advantage. They got plenty of soft penalties today and had a hill packed out with Dragons supporters. Im not saying that it is always going to be the difference between winning and loosing as Dragons lost there last year. But I do think that it makes a difference and last night wouldve been enough to get us home. Oh well hopefully next year we learn our leason if were to make the finals again.

I have one word that describes this thread CRAP! The right choice was made by a CEO who is a LEADER not a follower.

why can we not be like the dragons & play at a smaller ground? stiff crap if people are going to have a sook. take the game to leichhardt, it fits 22,500 people. 10,000 less than SFS and most of that 10,000 missing out would have been rooters supporters.
even though we had way more supporters, the refs do not feel the pressure. hayne is usually good at reffing the tigers but i guess he had a duty last night to keep the daley M team happy and he complied.
dragons had the penalty count 10-5 today. thats what a home ground does to the refs!!!
wait n see next week vs raiders how much of an affect the supporters are going to have on the ref.

You cant please everyone if you choose Leichhardt you upset the Magpies side if you choose Campbelltown the Balmain side get upset. So really Sydney Football stadium was the only choice. But people will just complain anyway we have another chance so just get behind them, feeling so much better today after being totally shattered last night.
Go the Tigers!!!

No mention of Penrith losing at Penrith? Oh, right, they lost so it doesnt count.

What's wrong with Concord? Transport and Parking can't be any worse than Leichhardt and they could strike a deal on buses to commute from Tigers Five Dock & Wests Ashfield???

if the government builds a new 45,000 seat stadium in leumeah, if we win the soccer world cup bid, then that can be it :)

Most of our juniors come from the campbelltown area. We need to play more games here, not less.

We lost because we didn't take our chances.

If we earnt the revenue out of the extra 15000 or so at SFS vs say Leichardt I cld undertsand the decision to go to SFS.We didnt.
What we have done is deny Tigers fans the opportunity to attend a final & possibly grand final by handing such a huge advantage to easts
Lesson learnt hopefully

That's still years away from becoming a reality if greenlit.

Yeah because the overwhelming Tigers fan prescence swayed Hayne. Even with the vocal support we couldn't get calls. Not even obvious forward passes. Unless you mean Benji wouldn't have hurt his knee or Fulton his calf or Daniella his thigh because of the different surface at Leichhardt.

we didn't? didn't we get an extra couple of hundred grand out of the NRL to make sure we held it at the SFS?
