It is good to see Max Burey and Alex Seyfarth promoted from Balmain SG Ball. Seyfarth has made the NSW U18 squad. Burey comes from Laurie Daley's home town.

A couple of changes in the side which I think is a positive. Hopefully the boys can knock over Souths for the second time this season. Anyone know how Seyfarth goes?

Seyfarth is one to watch, a very mobile forward with a high work rate. I watched him play against the Sharks' SG Ball team last year at Woolooware. Suli and Seyfarth were the two who stood tall against the Sharks's team which won the SG Ball last year. He is around six two or three and has a style similar to the much maligned Clenn Morrison.

Paenhuyzen should be dropped, no point keeping him there when the teams season appears gone and he is off to Melbourne next year

Cheers Paws. Hopefully it's the start of bigger and better things to come for him. Obviously has a bit of growing still to do too at 17-18.

Will be interesting to see how the backline lines up. They don't usually play in the positions named.

I wouldn't be persisting with Pap at fullback. Either Lemuelu or Tautailefua should be developing there instead. All 3 can play multiple positions without weakening the squad, might as well get those who'll be around for a while the more involved position.

Will be watching Seyfarth closely. Hopefully he's got a bigger frame than the likes of Ray Stone. A shame Giles is out too, they could have shored up our back row a lot. Looks very weak relying on a rookie 17 year old.

Which was very disappointing news. I was looking forward to seeing these boys play tonight. Bright prospects.

This squad also doesn't have great depth so it's a blow to their chances of winning too.
