Mitch Brown

Post by benji_da_gun » Fri 08 Apr, 2011 11:19 pm

Thought he was as solid as a rock tonight and deserves a thread all of his own. He defused 3-4 kicks, both bombs and grubbers, was super solid in D and attack and strolled over for a try after a very nice back line movement.

Lets hope over the coming weeks, he keeps up the great form.

I'm not that surprised to be honest. He was one of our best towards the end of last year.

Last week can be forgiven as first game back. I'm so glad to see him do well.

I found myself OMG-ing at some of the things he pulled off tonight.
What a beast, such a handy player to have a part of the team.

Great game tonight. The bomb he took in the first half was fantastic, and his effort in the second to get out of the in-goal, just awesome. Deserve all the praise he gets. I think he is cementing himself a spot on the left wing. Good on him.

If Dwyer does not get centres spot he is next in line Just give him a different number I think it is cursed. seriously though he was good tonight made a crucial read in defence which stopped a almost certain try and defused a few bombs at crucial stages Well done Mitch Keep up the good work

It just goes to show the potential of all our players TBH.

I have no doubt we have the best squad in the NRL, there is no other team that can have so key players missing and be able to field a team as solid as the one we're fielding.

Love Brown, never deserved being dropped.

I was wondering why Mitch Brown wasn't a first choice starting winger for us at the start of this season after his performances last year but credit to Matty Utai, he has put in 100%, but you could certainly do a lot worse than Mitch Brown as backup and he will keep Utai/Ryan on their toes for their position once Tuqiri returns.

A fantastic effort from Brown tonight, especially that great catch on a pressure kick and his escape out of the in-goal when Souths were looking to force their way back into the match.

hope he can cement his place in the side once our players start to come back...

Even good players have a bad week.

Geoff Daniela was a lot more solid this week too, making his breaks off the line to pick lazy runners off.

The left side lifted this week in attack and defence.
And she's turning cold, at fifteen years old,
Taken too much slow, minds gone out to sea on the P&O,
Don't know what to do, rotten shade of blue,
Another case of "stupid is as stupid does..."

Cuando llegue el día, y estoy parado a las puertas del cielo, será Dios pidiendo mi perdón...

Brown and Daniela were both much improved and played like they did last year. Its unfortunate that Daniela got injured. Will Brown get the job at centre?
