I think we've already had our turn on Fox Sports but I turned off when the 1998 Grand Final was shown for both the Tigers & The Bulldogs, one game from the 80's I never got to watch was a game from 1985 V the Dragons at Leichhardt, epic game.

Here's some more to check out:

This 1st video clip is NOT intended to start WW3, it relates to the decision to merge club and for me, it is special to me in that my eldest son Peter speaks at 3.14:

And then another for the Balmain team:

Was that the one where Terry Lamb punches Benny Elias?

I used to respect him soo much more before that. At least he owned up to it in his book.

The Winfield Cup - great game, close game, but Saints just did enough, eh.
Players from both sides really ran hard and straight.

Here's another couple of videos to enjoy as the off season drags on:

Here's Wests Magpies from 1978, in a game against their arch enemy:

And here's the Balmain Tigers in 1988 (giving it to the Broncos):

That game at Lidcombe was my first live game which mum took me to. What an impression what a team minor premiers from no where won every game at home robbed of a premiership. The commitment and will to win was a bit like Melbourne displayed the game after they they had their premierships and minor premierships stripped.
League never reached the same heights again for me.
