Interchange policy

It absolutely STINKS.

How does Fifita get taken off with 10 to go after how he played in his last stint? what did we have to lose leaving him out there considering the score?

He was the only one going forward near the end.

WHAT A JOKE.

Yeah its average. Rotating 15 players for 60 minutes and bringing on 2 other players in the last 20...stupid.

Murdoch made a few good runs in his first stint and didnt get seen for 50 minutes after.

Agree with Captain, Fafita was done.

But i also agree the use of our bench at times is bewildering

Its been the same for 5 years though. Its annoying. We need to rotate our bench alot more. Id much rather see everyone getting agood distribution of game time than a few guys like Heighno and Fulton and Dwyer playing close to 80 minutes and the rest rotating

I question the use of Schirnack and Ryan to an extent, they got bugger all game time. It wouldn't be such an issue if the Tigers had of turned up to play and won the game, but when they're behind on the scoreboard and out on their feet, I don't see the harm in putting on fresh legs.

Exactly CA - Fifita was rooted! That's why we gave up that short drop out.

He won us that dropout on his own! Not one other player chased that kick. At least he had a go...unlike most of his mates out there.

And can someone tell me where Ryan played when he came on? Hooker? Second row? What a sick joke.

Everywhere on the field, what kind of position is that? Just a complete waste.

Meanwhile Dwyer plays injured for 20 minutes, just DUMB.

We're essentially giving up a headstart every week with this. Most teams name 3 forwards and a hooker on the bench. They all get 20+ minutes. We're blessed with one of the best hookers in the game, so what do we do? Play a back on the bench with 3 forwards. Give the back 10 minutes and the other bench forward 10 too. That's alright, by having small ineffective backrowers who can play 80 minutes, we don't need to make changes! Screw impact and making metres, saving interchanges is most important!

Agree, Fulton and Heino cant be partnered in the starting side. They can play massive minutes but dont sting in D and often get man-handled.

hE MEANS FAFITA WAS MARKING 10M FROM THE GOAL LINE ...I couldnt work it out why he'd be there when he'd just chased hard, then sure enough sandow dribbles it 10 with farah & his back turned and fafita knackered

Well you wouldnt think they would try a short kick in those circumstances at that time and farah just looked at it

Innk Fafita wasnt supposed to be there but he motioned to Schirnak to go back in his place cos he was too buggered. Id say Farah was in a catching position but when we have Lui, Marshall and McKinnon back there, Robbie probably should have been where Fafita was.

Finally someone speaks some sense. And throw in the fact that Dwyer just stays in one part of the field and doesnt go looking for the ball and you see why we really just make no metres. Utai is really the most threatening hit up merchant of our whole side.
