I agree. Ellis for captain. Plays 80 minutes and leads by example. Its what we need.

I can't see Farah being stood down or relinquishing the captaincy, however If we were serious about planning for the future I would be grooming Lawrence, with Ellis stepping in for the next season a half.

Part of the deal with Farah re-signing long term was that he got captaincy.

Otherwise I'd have Benji. You can just tell he lives and breathes for the team.

Was it in writing ? If not who cares.

I personally would keep him as captain but he needs a strong coach to put him in line. If Sheens choose to change the captain it wouldn't matter about him threatening to leave or because he wasn't promised the captaincy - both of those excuses don't hold any water.

Very good thread ,i beleive farah has had his day as captain ,i reckon he has lost respect from other players ,also he isnt having the best year as a player

Why on earth would he need to agree?
