TRIPLE M EXCLUSIVE: Current NRL Player Accused Of Ripping Off Members Of The Public

In a Triple M exclusive, we can reveal that a current NRL player has been accused of ripping off members of the public.

The scandal regards the sale of jerseys to fans, with the player allegedly offering jerseys to fans, taking the cash and not passing on the jerseys.

One fan was apparently out of pocket over $1000, with a group of aggrieved fans emerging as the Triple M investigation continues.

We understand that the club has been forced to step in to reimburse the fan.

The club has not denied the situation, and is in discussions with all parties involved.

When contacted for comment, the club provided the following statement:

“We are aware of the situation, we are in discussions with the player and person concerned. We have no further comment at this stage, until the matter has been resolved.”

More to follow.

Apparently it's Chris Grevsmuhl, which is why the Titans let him go.

Mustn't be paying NRL players enough for them to have to resort to this - i'd give my right arm for just half of their annual wages! Bloody cretin, doesn't deserve to be playing at all.

Thought it was Braith.........ripping off Wests Tigers members during his 2 year pension with us. Arguably the biggest rort for non-performance in the history of the game. Significant monies were deposited into his bank account for zero return.
Foolproof plan by Grevsmuhl, obviously not the most clued-in individual that bloke.

That fact that this is real after my first thought being "There is absolutely no way an NRL player would drop to this level" has me speechless.

Pathetic excuse for an NRL player
