Well let's hope this is all crap.

My understanding is that we have a Full Back for 2018.

If he was to play 5/8 and we move Reynolds to DH - what do we do with Liddle? Oh! just play him in ISP.
Don't think so. Reynolds is nowhere near a better DH than Liddle. That means we play Reynolds in ISP.
Don't think so. Since when do you play a 750k player in ISP. (Know your answer BBF - does not apply).

All we need is another player in the halves with hamstring problems, that would give us a trifecta.

Also it is quoted "but would consider granting him a release should he secure a mammoth offer to play elsewhere."

Isn't the star of the team - "the team" - don't need him, I am hoping Cleary does not relent.
What your saying is if it was out of Moylan and Liddle, the latter is the clear cut keeper?
Absolutely RP - I think that Liddle will be our future SOO hooker in a few years.

Someone says put Reynolds at DH that is speedy, passing the ball to Moylan etc.....
Liddle is twice as quick as Reynolds.

He also wants to play for us and is not just chasing the dough.

We have just got rid of three of those types - don't need to bring another one to the club.
Yep I understand where you are coming from but we don't have any x-factor at the moment - just a solid team across the park that will win more games than this year but won't set the comp on fire.

Moylan is that guy who can win a game. Liddle has plenty of potential but a smallish physique and recurring injuries are the only things slowing his call for a major payday.

Which is a problem. We always get dominated by the bigger packs having a hooker on the bench doesn't help things. Reynolds is good defensively, quick out of dummy half and good passing game. Getting Moylan seems like a no brainer.

I must be missing something with Liddle. People have been talking him up for years. He hasnt impressed me yet. I doubt he is seriously the first choice 9 for next year.

As for Moylan. He kills the play a lot at Penrith due to him trying too hard and hogging the ball a bit. Reynolds plays the same. If Cleary could control this he would bring the x factor. If not he would be an expensive anchor.

I don't know about Liddle either. I can see him playing about half a season in NRL next year and half in SC or injured.
He looks to be similar in skill and strength to Peter Wallace but it's taken Wallace a long tine to get to where he is. IMO Wallace is better than Peats and Liddle is a long way off being a seasoned pro, but will get there one day.

He'd be great, but... We have Lolohea, Brooks, Marshall, Gamble AND Reynolds all on the books next year. Who plays where? And I seriously oppose the idea of playing Reynolds at hooker. Players out of position is a real pet peeve of mine, seriously can't stand it.

He did, but he's a specialist #6. There's probably a reason he still isn't playing dummy half.

Highly doubt Moylan will be at tigers next year. But if he did, you are dreaming if you think it would be anyone but Lolohea that would make way.

He's not coming here to find a cure for cancer, just to play some decent footy. Last time I checked, you didn't need a degree for that.
