I like to see them do well only because poor Mitch Pearce copped such a flogging last year re Lassie. I hope Cowboys as Townsville is a lot smaller city than Brissie and Melb. so less cash.
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

My Aunty asked me last week which Sydney team I would be cheering for with Tigers not in the finals. I said none, I dislike them all immensely.

She asked how that worked, they were other teams from Sydney? I said that's precisely it, there is a local geography involved here, several derbies of sorts that are 100 years old. I hate Roosters, Bulldogs, Parramatta, Dragons, always have, our closest rivals. Cronulla have really soured on me although I was happy enough to see them win a comp for their supporters, I dislike their players and coach. Manly... well no explanation needed. Penrith I don't mind so much, they remind me of the Tigers. Souths are perennial losers and were dumped from the comp but I have some sympathy for them.

The non-Sydney teams I have don't have the same deep or binding feelings. Broncos I'm not a huge fan of but there are way up there doing their own thing. They have their own big catchment, support themselves financially and don't really do much roster raiding down south.

It's like saying Liverpool fans' second team should be Everton because they are in the same city, or Man U and Man City. And of course the reverse is true.

Roosters can go to hell, I love to see them fail any and every year possible.

Absolutely, all you Sydneysiders and NSW supporters should get behind YOUR team!!.
All you Tigers supporters should be cheering on this club too, for Teddy's sake.
They should by default now be your second team.

Go and have a $35 eggs on toast at Double Bay and then jump in your limo and head out and support YOUR local team in your deluxe box.

Pop in at the leagues club on your way home and empty your bank accounts into their pokies, they need your "support" they're struggling.

Your grand final parties should already be booked at Icebergs.

Ill Cheer Teddy, ill cheer most ex West Tigers players. If you entertain me I will cheer you.
Likewise I will cheer Marshall when he plays, he will be exciting and good.

But I won't be going for the Roosters. Maybe the Cows just because they are such underdogs this time. The Storm can be good and they can be boring, if they are Boring they will be booed.

None of these teams are actually West Tigers. If I watch the game it is for fun.

Doubt that I'll even bother to watch the Grand final.... Can't remember the last one I missed.

hell will freeze over before I support the roosters. I have ZERO interest in the GF this year - bet there will be spare seats in the crowd, or plenty of seats given away

My order of preference to win the big one - Cows, Broncos, Roosters, Storm. Go Queensland!
yeah that's about my order of preference as well, I might even put the Roosters below the Storm, it's a tough call though

I'll never forget what Murdoch and the Super League teams done to the game, and from which it has never recovered. So it'll be a cold day in hell before I ever support a SL team against any ARL team. :x

If i didnt have so much choice with QLD teams id definetly support them.
Hell of a good team, great club. Our club could learn A LOT from them.
I tipped Melbourne/Roosters GF months ago. They both earned the right and will progress this weekend.

Remember if the Roosters do win this year, then trend means they won't go back to back or even win again for a number of years. No premiership for Tedesco.
