Congrats Teddy. Now that he has a ring, I wonder if he is more likely to come back to the Tigers after his contract is up. Does he want to emulate what Lebron did with Cleveland?
Hopefully not - don't need him or want him.
We need players like him...he however can go to hell

funny how some 'experts' on this forum that said "Tedesco is has been, cannot teach old dog new tricks, he cannot/want pass the ball, he lost his speed, he cannot run properly, he shall play wing/center, we have better FBs etc etc' were complaining loudest when he left, has someone said HYPOCRICY?
Please explain :brick: :deadhorse:

It’s kinda pathetic to want him back now. Doesn’t matter how good he is, it’s a principle thing. He can go and rot.

Kind of like your ex girlfriend leaving you for a millionaire and then you send her a bouquet of flowers on her wedding day.

As painful as it is to admit, he had the last laugh... $1m contract and a premiership ring in his first year away from the tigers....

Christ there’s some salty responses in this thread. Like it or not, going to the Roosters was a good career move for him. Year one of the new contract and he already has a ring. And despite what you all say, the majority would welcome him back with open arms if he were to come home in a few years. Time heals all wounds... ask Cleveland fans how they felt when Lebron came back and won the city it’s first professional sports trophy in 50+ years. They might be dirty on him now because he left again for the Lakers, but they don’t win that championship without Lebron
Year of last finals appearance:
2018 - Roosters, Storm, Rabbitohs, Sharks, Panthers, Broncos, Dragons, Warriors
2017 - Eels, Sea Eagles, Cowboys
2016 - Raiders, Bulldogs, Titans
2013 - Knights
2011 - Tigers

Russ, You just gave the perfect example of why we are probably a long, long time away from adding to our one and only Premiership.

Couldn’t care less how Cleveland fans feel. Unlike LBJ, Tedesco will never be back. He’s a Rooster for life now. I agree, it was a great move for him, but a fat lot of good it’s done for us hasn’t it.

I hope he drops his ring down some gold plated drain hole in Bondi somewhere. There's nothing I dislike more than a low life. And the way he treated this club of ours indicates to me that clearly he's a low life. Never to return would be too soon for me.

Good on Teddy, played well in a grand final win. He made the sensible decision really.

Can't stand the guy. Of course we need him, but i don't want him either. It still stands out for me every time he talks about how he ended up at the Roosters and made a decision between them and the Dogs. The only party not mentioned is us, in other words he never had any intention of staying, but was happy to drag this club, it's fans, members, stakeholders and sponsors through the media storm for weeks and weeks. The spineless coward wasn't even man enough to respond to a deadline.
One hell of a footy player though.
