Geez BBQ-Gate at the Bronco’s has set the Qld RL community spinning.

This one is going to be big.
Surely any brisbane expansion bid team have contacted Bennet and the NRL about grabbing this opportunity.

It would take a brave man to walk out on an NRL coaching gig if he doesn’t have another lined up, they aren’t exactly easy to come by.
Especially a rookie coach. Walking out/ giving up doesnt really look good on the resume
No experienced coach will take the gig at Penrith with Gussy looking over the shoulder all the time. A rookie that Gus can heavily influence (control)is going to be a more believable scenario.

If Barret leaves Manly, next stop will be Penrith.
Gould did say he wanted the next coach to take Penrith to the next level and a Premiership. Not sure if Barrett would be the man for that, Cleary either for that matter. If he wants a Premiership inside of 2 years with the great roster they have, then the only available coach that could do that imo would be Bennett.

However, you are right in saying that an experienced, successful coach wouldn't want Gussy looking over their shoulder - imagine Bennett copping that! That relationship just wouldn't work, so that leaves Gould to take what's left - Barrett because he and Gus actually like each other and he will be happy to do whatever Gould wants. Or Cleary so Penrith can keep Nathan on their books for the future. Either way, neither of these guys will guarantee Premiership success.
I think you're right about Bennett being the man who may be able to deliver the premiership. I would however pay to see the weekly debrief between Gus and Uncle Wayne though - that would be pure gold!

Why would Seibold want to leave Souths?
They have a very solid team and there is a lot of crap going on at the Bronco’s.

Greg Alexander just said Barrett and Bennett wiil definitely not be coaching at Penrith, and at this point they are looking at no one except Ciraldo at least till the end of the year.
That could mean many things and no doubt there will be lots of opinions.
I thought Brandy was very careful about how he said that, and actually looked very nervous about what he was saying!

The conspiracy theorist in me thought it was more about what he WASN'T saying... and I was hoping the panel would hit him with a nice direct question about Ivan Cleary still being in their sights but of course they gave their colleague a soft ride.

Looks like there are more coaches on the market then players at the moment
Reporters seem to be pushing the issues here
We all want to know the latest news going around
We just dont want the bull that comes out
Alot of this is speculation
If Seibold is a done deal to the Broncos how do they know
Where is the contract
Why hasn't it been announced
Who leaked the information
Pfffft

Well according to Paul Kent. He will finish up at the end of the season.
According to Paul Kent, Ivan Cleary would now be coaching the Panthers.

Broncos are 100% owned by News Ltd s you would have to think they may have some "inside" info.

AKA The game is totally rigged. The law of mathematics dictates it.It is impossible for Soooo many 50%chances to always fall the way of the Brisbanes.Storm AND Roosters and so often against the Wests, raiders,Parramattas,Nz's etc etc.
