Did Payten even take a hit up? I was at the game and only saw him once, when we were walking back after Ellis' second try.

Nope, he made 15 tackles. 0 metres in attack which is a big concern.

Payts was constantly hobbling from marker. I seriously don't think he will see the year out. Not a good way for a bloke who has been a warrior for our club to finish up...

And the sky is filled with light, can you see it?
And the black is really white, if you believe it.
And the longing that you feel, you know none of this is real;
You will find a better place, in this twilight...

Cuando llegue el día, y estoy parado a las puertas del cielo, será Dios pidiendo mi perdón...

Brown had a top game to-night & would keep him in the centres, also thought Ellis was man of the match. As for bringing Fifita back into the team he runs to much sideways so give me Groat anytime as this kid is going well.

No way Brown was MIA. Had a busy game and played as much a part in Ellis' second try as anyone else with the pressure he put on Purtell. I think he is highly underrated, he was solid for us last year and has never really let the side down. Like others here i hope he is offered another contract, and i also believe when we have everyone available he should be the fullback week in week out.
