One good dame hardly makes up for a season of garbage tbh.

With that said, he was great today! It was like watching a different player, if he played like that week in week out, the Tigers would NEVER have let him go and I think all those 'bashers' would never have existed.

Foot in mouth.... tastes gross, a little salty... but if he keeps playing like this, I could get used to the taste I guess.
I hate South Sydney.... immensely

I think the big difference is that he can now step off his crook leg at speed that has made a big difference
And being able to do this has given him much confidence which is helping him in all parts of his game Happy will eat humble pie IF he can keep up this form

On Moltzen - he looked like Billy Slater today - where has that been all year???
Sooner or later, next year has to be this year - Ricksen

Moltz will still have the odd clanger at the back. He is learning the position. Geez I wish he was staying.

Still not a Moltzen fan. Today he made a good, potentially try scoring run, then ruined it with a stupid pass that put Parra back on the attack.

Next time he made a damaging run he ruined it again with another stupid gift pass to put Parra on the attack.

As far as fullbacks go I rate Tim behind Slater, Stewart, Boyd, Dugan, Minichello, Merritt, Barba and Locke.

He's deserved the pasting he's copped on here, but things have slowly improved and he finally had a really good game at fullback. Hopefully he can keep this form going.

Had a great game, no doubt.

Taken his time though!

I was watching the game today. And considering that + last week + the fact that I predicted he would improve... I am really concerned that he's going to continue to rise. Ugh, I was happy he was going but now, not so much. The fullback position for NSW is totally up for grabs and honestly Moltzen is such a boys club pet it wouldn't take too many good performances in the Red V for him to end up there.

I agree. His positional play when defending is still very average too.

An extremely pleasing effort, here's hoping it continues...

And the sky is filled with light, can you see it?
And the black is really white, if you believe it.
And the longing that you feel, you know none of this is real;
You will find a better place, in this twilight...

Fuerza en la adversidad.

Never questioned Moltzens talent. He has infuriated me at times with some petulant plays and lack of desire to take the game on. He is a very dangerous ball runner when he is the mood.It is the strongest aspect of his game, his running game and yet I think he doesn't inject himself enough. Today he was everywhere and looked very menacing. Very busy. He has looked disinterested and totally lost at times this season. However it is clear the confidence is returning and like the Tigers in general the swagger is coming back. I still think he could run the ball back harder and more often. Don't think any has ever questioned his talent. If his will is there he can be a force. It could add a totally different dimension to our attack that has been missing al year.

Eddie you are correct in saying that nobody questioned his talent but many questioned Sheens project to turn him into a fullback.

The critics also ignored how difficult it is coming back from knee construction. Not to mention he was doing it in a position in which he has played about ten games.

can he pass on the run though?
My only issue with his game today was this. He made a few poor decisions after his breaks. Apart from that he was excellent. Could provide us with some real X-Factor in the finals.
