if there can be a positive from Dwyer's injury, it is Fulton. he has stepped up into his starting role and played absolutely superbly.

a genuine 80 minute ball playing backrower. a great asset to the team

His combination with Benji on the right is looking very promising.

Our big 4 (Benj, Rob, Gareth and Lawry), have hardly played together this year. We have been missing 2 of these guys for extended periods and have struggled. We needed others to step up and Fults, Beau and Gibbsy have done just that. Keith and Heighno have turned in their dependable good games week in - week out.

When we finally get a full side on the park, Benji Robbie and Lui are going to have options galore as Lawrence, Ayshford and Fulton are all hitting the ball at speed out wide and Moltz is starting to backup more consistently in the middle.

We keep the forwards injury free and on the same form we will win this comp.

He is everywhere in defence, which has been the case most of his career; but what is amazing is that he is now a real threat with the ball and still makes around 40 tackles. Truly a valuable player.

He's busting his arse so he can send out his best mate with another premiership ring. Getting a glimpse now into the real Liam Fulton and what he is capable of.

Thought Liam was a bit past his prime earlier in the season but has been playing great footy of late.

Liam Fulton in tights spot with missus

Sport Confidential with Christian Nicolussi From: The Daily Telegraph August 23, 2011 12:00AM

LIAM Fulton may have some explaining to do to his wife after we sprung him perving on the yoga instructor at a Wests Tigers recovery session.

The players giggled like schoolchildren when leggy blonde Sol Walkling, 31, put the boys through stretches at Coogee Beach. Walkling said most of the players could do with a little more work on their flexibility, but were obviously stiff after a tough game the day before against Parramatta.

Fulton reckons there was a perfect explanation for his fixed gaze. "She was good, but not as good as my wife," Fulton said. "I was only looking because some guy had tripped over in the background. Then I realised the yoga instructor was actually wearing the same pair of tights my missus wears."

And what about retiring prop Todd Payten and the concrete-like elasticity in his hammys? (See the Pic)
