Love it when we are not expected to win.

It is our attack that wins us games when our defence is good. And tonight it wasn't. Also looked like our attacking combinations were rusty.
We need Lawrence, Galloway and the Beauster next week!!

Was a bad game but I think the good start with 2 early tries did us more harm against the lowly placed Sharks. I dont think the short turn around did us favours against a physical Sharks forward pack. We have alot to improve on but we will lift next week against the Dragons. Remember we were poor in our last 2 games in 2005 and last season also went to another level in the Roosters semi. Our attack looks fine, just need to cut out the silly plays and mistakes. Our defense looks like it needs to be the focus in the next week but I thinks it more an attitude thing.

True. Correct me if I am wrong, but i think eight in a row (2005 and now 2011) is our best ever winning streak.

this was always going to be a danger game, everyone was expecting to win just for showing up. very hard to get properly motivated when everyone expects you to win so easily. especially at an away game and with a couple of players out.

a couple of months ago we couldn't score a point without chris lawrence on the field so we've certainly come a long way from there.

with Chris and keithy back next week, and the hype of a final, i think the boys will be pumped and a million times better.

4th spot. amazing. well done boys!!! let's break the record and make it 9 in a row against those scummy dragons.

Out of the top 8 we have the 3rd best attack and the 3rd worst defence.

Spooky.

I only saw the last half hour, but we repeatedly invited Cronulla back into the game. If we gave that sort of cheap ball to the likes of Manly or St George we would get poleaxed.

Let's hope next week we turn it all around. Bring on the semis :sign:
Not the best effort...however as you said Sharks turned up and we still put 30 points past them for the win.

I am not worried whatsoever....

I do not think that some people are giving the Sharks the credit they are due. Their forward pack is one of the biggest and best in the NRL and they played great football tonight.

Weststigers were a bit shoddy with the ball (especially Benji). But their defence was ok and if Benji had of kicked all of the conversions we would have had a comfortable last 20 minutes.
