Never in the history of this game has it been televised...
That's a shame, why is that? Facilities, technology or the like?
How long gave you followed this particular game...? It is a promotional Test for the people of PNG,,,No money in it for broadcasters...
Longer than you have been taking typing lessons....? ;)

Haven't had a lot of time to follow and watch footy till recently, been busy working and help raise a family.

I know the origins of the game, why they play it and who is eligible.

It doesn't make sense not to televise it and givin it is for the people of PNG why they dont sell the rights and donate it back to the people of PNG or put it towards the development of the league there?

I'm sure there is an audience for it here, given the players are selected from teams that are out of finals contention?

This team must have been selected prior to round 26.

I thought selected prior to Teddy getting his jaw smashed.
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

Good side and the people of PNG deserve a quality side like this.PNG is the only country in the world where Rugby League is the national sport and they deserve all the support they can get from Australia

I'm sure there would be an audience for it, but it would cost a fortune setting up a proper production team over there.

Yep, shame I would have thought maybe 4 cameras and a small production crew would have been within budget?

Btw big fan of Elvis Costello, Veronica has to be one of his best, great song - sad story.

Maybe Optus have the rights ? ;)
The game may not be televised, but there are video highlights available each year.

Kid is good but why should he be ahead of Teddy? Unless you're saying he should be on the wing?

Yes on reflection it was a tad harsh so I did some further research and found the TV rights holder.......................................In PNG

http://www.pngrfl.org/tvwan-secures-tv- ... mpionship/

If TCL has a big enough arial he may be able to tune TVWAN in...Will also be on the lookout for any Livestream sites closer to game and will PM TLC if I find one...
