He still put a MASSIVE hit on Thurston though. That was a cracker of a hit.

Fifita went into the 2011 season at 110kg, news story about how he shed 10kg in the off season or something, and recently articles have listed him at 114kg saying he has been hitting the weights hard.

If Fifita lines up Blair and nails him, it will be Lights out for Blair.

Don't you think he can flatten him? Fifita will line him up, even if it is 3rd man in.

It will probably be shades of Luke Bailey v Carl Webb in Origin, Fifita comes off the bench and first tackle nails a tired Blair, plenty of Shark fans s*** their bricks over it and ignore the rest of the match.

Well to be honest Bug I do have my doubts. Fifita is a big unit but Blair is a seasoned international who has seen it all before. He toyed with Fifita last year at Leichhardt and I just think Blair's experience will be superior to any aggression Fifita decides to dish out. Fifita's discipline is one of his weaknesses still IMO. Should be a cracker of a game though.

If it's third man in, it shows he has no maturity or guts as a player to take him on one-on-one. However, it is a more likely scenario than him taking Blair on his own. And while Fifita is more concerned with dishing out punishment over a personal vendetta, Benji will probably be lurking on Blair's inside should waiting for the offload.

Yeah lets hope Gibbs and Fifita lose their heads, it will really play into our hands.

Judging by Blair's comments in the article, I doubt he actually cares about Fifita and anything he would like to dish out... Fifita had 2 chances on Saturday night to try and meet him with some gusto, and nothing happened.

Fifita will probably take a cheap shot at one of our smaller blokes though!

comparing a international with a rookie, its a no brainer. Fifita may one day be a top notch footballer but now he is just a rookie and nothing more although he is not silly he managed to get the sharks to part with 300g a year.

Unsubstantiated rumour, but my Shark mates are all adamant we are still paying a portion of Gibbs/Fifitas contract for 2012.

Fifita will try to smash timmy or benji , he knows how important they are , and if it is 1 on 1 he will damage them , but they are smart players , and will most likely make him look like a dill , and thants when his game will turn to crap , gibbs will target with more chance of a little pay back

Willing to bet it's Gibbs contract.

I think Andrew has a lot of learning but he can try and put on a cheap shot but that will only play into the tigers hands. I think Adam wont waste any time or effort with Fifita more change of it being the other way around.

I dont think a professional would waste their time with a rookie unless provoked.

NO CONTEST IN MY EYES..........
