Cheer Girls

Post by tigergirlz » Sun 04 Mar, 2012 8:57 pm

Really enjoyed the cheer squad at the game today. Exceptional cheerleading skills. (P.S. was never a fan of the barely clad girls group). Thank you Wests Tigers

We use to have the cutest cheer squad in the comp. now we have a bad American high school cheer squard. I know footy is trying to be open to more people. But if they are going to try something new, it should be of a high class. That was poor. Parra tried this a few years ago and only lasted a few rounds. Even my wife prefers the cheer girls.

There are 26 men in skin tight tops and shorts for 80 mins on the field. Why not have equal opportunity and also have the same for women. You can't tell that some women go to the footy for a little eye candy. I know it is the only reason my wife comes, and both my mother and sister both admit to it as well

Stunt Team is a far better idea.

They seem to know their cues better as well so as not to constantly obstruct your view if sitting in the lower areas of the grounds seating.

It also means we didn't have to put up with another poorly choregraphed "dance" to David freaking Guetta music which I was thankful for

I thought the cheer squad was great. It's the first time I've ever actually watched the half time performance and they were equally as impressive each time we scored. Sick of scantily-clad girls with pompoms- this is a lot more classy!!

Phil Dunphy from Modern Family was a cheerleeader. Perhaps he could do a special guest appearance.

How can I become a cheerleader with no experience in cheerleading or tumbling? I tried out for my 7th and 8th grade cheerleading squad but I didn't make it, both years. Can anyone give me tips on how to make the freshman team? I really want to be a cheerleader!! Remember, I have no experience. I can't take tumbling classes because my parents won't let me So give me tips on how I can be an awesome cheerleader and how i can make the team.
