Long story short, double movement was correct, offside in GP was not...

Agreed on both!

Lets hope Flanagan gets a BIG Fine for his comments... This has blown out of all proportion and neither decision robbed the Sharks of Victory!

ah well, all is right in the world.

Shark scored 4 additional points of a forward pass leading to a try. Carney failed to convert - A mistake made by both refs, and the touch judge.

We scored 1 additional point off this mistake by the main ref.

unfortunately for the sharks, that one point we scored was critical. But in reality it should never have gotten to that point - we should have had the game won 16-12.

I like the way Flanagan was able to read Clarke's mind and "knew" he would have awarded that try. What was his quote... that is a try every week in the NRL. WRONG!

Makes the off side penalty just that little bit sweeter (although I do think the best team lost yesterday).

And the touch judge as well.

Video Ref is also under investigation for allegedly communicating with a coach during the game based off Flanagan's comments.

No different from nearly every game every week.
The current crop of referees are just not very good.
Should have pulled them back for a forward pass , should have given us the feed when they knocked on in front of the sticks... but it wasn't only us getting dudded - they copped a few bad ones too.

Like how flanagan has a selective memory by not mentioning the first try hes side scored off a pass that was half a metre forward. They picked up our forward passes in the first half.It goes both ways

Or on Benjis kick out on the full how gallen body checked him after the kick with time to pull out.

The night before a much lesser offence was deemed a penalty. A penalty there could be a game changer

Good to see Maxwell got dumped for missing that blatant forward pass that led to the sharks first try!

It is important to make clear that at the end of the game or at any time during the game, there was no conversation between Sharks officials and the referees.
Last line of the article.

I really don't like how Harrigan has highlighted that Maxwell has been stood down because of the on-side incident, but there's no mention of the forward pass that led to the Sharks' first try or the knock-on on their tryline.

anyone can miss a forward pass, has happened since the first game of football.

but there is no excuse for not knowing the actual rules of the game.

Big difference between a bad judgement call and ballsing up the rules at a crucial point in the game.
