EARLY DAYS...NOT NEED TO PANIC...YET

Post by NZTiger » Fri 16 Mar, 2012 11:58 pm

As I mentioned on facebook's Wests tigers till I Die Page:

Early days guys & gals!

I think this is a ploy to shake any ounce of favoritism of our backs. Thats just not our style.

It's ridiculous that we were favs heading into a new season with a new spine! Laughable. :crazy
Manly, Warriors & Storm were always my early favs. Their sides more settled. But absolutely no reason to say we can't gel over time & catch them out at the back end ;)

Also too many injuries (and NRL experience lost) at the moment but thankfully another 23 weeks to put things right.

Key in this comp is to stay with the pack. Winning home games at least, for first half.
As long as we are 50% + winning at the halfway points (Round 13) & have most of our players back on deck, as we know in the NRL, anything can happen.

Come on, let's not bag our boys. Still plenty of points to play for! keep the faith :) Come on you Tigerrrrsss!

well 3 rounds in, I'm not going to hit the panic button.

In saying that, I'll be watching the Raiders very carefully this weekend...

We look a rabble at the moment but it's only round 3 so no need for mass hysteria
A simple game plan for the raiders game & we will be back up there as one of the contenders

A ploy is a deliberate act by a team or individual to gain some sort of advantage.

Tell me thats just a poor choice of words.....its no ploy, they couldnt play that bad if they tried.

This favourites tag business drives me nuts. 'Oh we're not favourirtes now so everything will be alright'. Who bloody cares about what bookmakers say

Exactly. I mean, did anyone really think we should have been favourites???? Only the blindly optimistic. And it only got worse when Tedesco went down.

It's going to take half the season to find our feet, granted a much better attitude is also needed!

NZ Tiger, if you think its a ploy and they deliberately threw the game then wouldn't that be a form of match-fixing? :crazy

seriously, some people :brick:

panic not needed.
change of attitude is. :x
maybe the loss will sting them into action.
we will have to wait til next monday to see if anything has changed.

most frustrating factor is, that we as supporters, and the players know they can perform alot better.
