Pies : Where do you buy your favourite and what is it
Re: Pies : Where do you buy your favourite and what is it
4 for 6 at Coles TD.
That is some rip off - should be put in the clink.
By the way 4 'n twenty Angus beef is pretty good for mass produced - 4 for 8.50 / 6 on special.
Garlo's pies are pretty decent for a supermarket pie

lol @ super market pies.
invest in a pie maker, they're cheap.
make your own pies, put whatever you want in them.
trust me, best pies you'll ever taste.

I made a cracking Beef & Guinness pie last week. The key was searing the diced Garvey beef first. I put the raw small chucks into a plastic bag with a small amount of flour and shook it until they were all dusted with flour then seared it and chucked some onion in as well. Once it’s all seared add some stock and greated zucchini or an other veg. Start slow cooking it in a pot and add a bottle of stout.

Fishing, and importantly it's success, is a science that falls prey to the whims of many factors. Tides, bait, moon, gear, etc, etc, etc, etc.happy tiger wrote: ↑Mon 05 Mar, 2018 10:39 amI'm guessing you aren't getting too many fish then![]()
Fresh fish yum![]()
The success in a pie shop revolves around you having $6.50 in your pocket.
So, going down the road for a pie is a much greater chance of succeeding. Fisherman's excuse #126

And yes . . . . fresh fish are yum. Especially the humble whiting and flathead. Skinless, boneless fillets. Mmmmmm.

Happy, if I could catch red throat and Spaniards in my local river here in Sydney, I'd be into them quick smart !!!!
It's hard work bragging to a qlder about just how honourable it is to catch 47cm whiting.
You guys are spoilt. Enjoy !!!!

there is a footie crazy fan who turns up at woollies almost every morning and wears odd socks every time - the team socks of two NRL teams who are playing that day or whatever. He is sour because cannot purchase I think it is Cowboy socks because they are owned by Toyoto or something like that. He is about 75-80 years old and a roosters fan and as friendly as hell.

So he eats sock pies? That is what this thread is about. Do you happen to see this "crazy sock guy" in the mirror every morning BBF?

Don't try to tell me awesome power can corrupt a person, you haven't enough to know what it's like; you're only angry because you wish you were in my position, you nod your head because you know that I'm right.

have your laughs but has anyone everyone ever seen such a keen fan that has the socks of about 16 teams and religiously wears them on whatever teams are playing? I wonder what he does when there are a few games on the one day.
