Why do some of you claim Rogue One to be a good flick?
It is a paint by numbers, lifeless bore fest. Say what you will about Lucas being a pathetic director of human beings, and he is, the bloke knew how to tell a story and understood what a trilogy was. The 3 movies made by Disney have been feminist, agenda driven trash and im surprised those of you claiming to be ultra starwars geeks are applauding them.
It's called an opinion. Why do you get worked up about the opinions of others on a bunch of movies you claim to care little about?
Im not too worked up. I just appreciate good cinema and its releases are very thin these days thanks to those superhero movies and these efforts. They are clogging up the cinemas and preventing worthy stories from airing.
Why do you go then? Surely you know what your gonna get.

Well I went to number 7 to see if anything improved under new management.
I went to Rogue One to see if a spin off could be better.
I went to 8 under extreme reluctance due to a christmas present backfire.

It didnt, it wasnt and it was as bad as I thought. You are correct I wont be doing it ever again.

He seemed to get the best out of his actors in the Indiana Jones movies , just my opinion
The acting is the worst part of those movies. If they werent so adventure driven with special set pieces, theyd be b grade movies. Starwars is very similar.
You can't go wrong with Harrison Ford ,Sean Connery etc

Superstars imo

Not going to argue about 7, they tried to reboot a franchise that didn’t need rebooting. The writing and acting were terrible even by the main stars and JJ to me destroyed any chance the ST trilogy had of being any good ( box office numbers say I’m wrong )

If you didn’t like Rogue One then maybe you don’t understand the series that well, R1 added so much depth to the series especially A New Hope and is probably the best SW movie since TESB.

TLJ was entertaining but one big walking plot hole and some of the decisions RJ made were poor considering what TFA left us with. As a stand alone movie its a 6 out of 10 but as the 8th instalment of the Skywalker saga its a 3. Just my opinion.

I watched Rogue 1

Only took 4 goes as well , kept it on HD , might be handy with my bouts of imsomnia

Liked the saying "rebellions start with hope "
