You could put any chick, even belinda neal, in as PM and Tony would be unable to win.
I could only imagine that debate...

Gillard: Mr. Abbott is out of touch with the electorate... Australians stand to gain nothing from the re-introduction of WorkChoices.

Abbott: Shouldn't you be behind a kitchen sink making children?

I don't think any woman in this country would vote for Abbott. Sloppy Joe would have been a much more "attractive" option, and I use that term attractive very loosely
I swing like hell but know full well that I won't win the fight, but big man I'm the beta male that's gonna ruin your night...

This will be an interesting lead up to the Election.

Labour won the last election on 2 grounds: 1-We needed a change in Government and the in-fighting between Costello v Howard was distabilising,. And 2-The country Voted for Kevin Rudd, not the Labour Party.

This is gona be an interesting couple of days. Lets hope the ASX doesnt panic...

About as smart as Kevin Dudd.

Actually two of the most gifted intellectuals to enter Australian Politics in the last 20 years.

Unfortunatley the Australian electorate is a mind numbingly stupid place where people get focused on one or two trivial issues and are unable to focus on the bigger picture.

Is it any wonder that we are failures of almost American proportions in stabilised growth plans. The electorate remains a place where instant gratification of the individual will always outweigh the altruistic greater good.

Its great to see Dudd being backstabbed like this....forget about his persona in the media, he is nothing short of an egotistical two-faced liar.

If the option was not a neo con hawk with a penchant for religious fanatacism I would whole heartedly agree with you.

Just on an aside topic. To all the people who vote Greens as a "protest vote" please remember that the Greens party have been the great staller of Australian Politics for the last 8 years. Holding hostage to vital issue to get their way on trivial ones
