Heighno Broken Hand

Post by tigertye » Fri 06 Apr, 2012 11:12 pm

Spoke to a lady who claims she works with the Tigers and apparently Heighno has a broken hand 3-6 weeks.

For anyone at the game who saw him run into the idiot cameraman who got in his way, this has affected the injury and caused more damage from what I was told and she was blowing up about it.

I saw him come out of the tackle when it first happend, he played of for quite a while before he got Skando to look at it then played a bit more, then I went back to the game.

He would be fit I guess seeing he was Captain of Dragons Premier League Team.

reserve garde sides usually make a guy captain because they know they wont crack their first grade side .but i guess we bought him so we should use him .

Couldn't do any worse than Groat atm.
Don't get me wrong...I'm a Groat fan, I just think that there is too much pressure on him atm, a softly softly approach would be more ideal...ie. a couple of games in NRL then a couple back in reggies etc,,, etc,,,

Poor heighno. He'll be sorely missed for sure. One of our best and most consistent players.

I am actually very interested to see how we go without Heighno. We havent really missed him for many periods that I remember hes always been there. Thats assuming we dont replace him with a fullback or Jacob Miller.

The cameraman bump didn't look to have much in it though. But I guess any minor bump when its broken probably made things a bit sorer.

I don't think we'll miss the 2012 version much, we only missed him tonight because our bench was reduced to one forward.

BMM is the future.

I think there is room for both. I'd like to see Heighno bring up his 200th game this season!
