Feel so sorry for him.

It wasnt long ago the bloke was blowing Billy Slater away down the sideline. Now he looks more like a second rower at best.

Hopfully this hemmie stuff is not chronic because he did it late last year as well. Dam hip injury!

He was freakishly fast as a kid. He also couldn't defend to save his life. He bulked up and became an above average defender, but his agility and speed have gone. If he gets bigger / slower, the back of the pack may be where he's headed.

I think people forget that he dislocated his hip last year. Pretty severe injure in my books that will take some time to come good, if at all

100% agree and very well said Ink.

Lawry was still a borderline Origin chance two weeks ago when our coach said "hey, you're playing 5/8".....and effectively ended any chance he had.

Did anyone hear Lawry complain or sulk? No.

He's the ultimate professional. It's a shame his career is stagnating and you hope he ends up finding something like his old form.

Lawrence looks like a gentleman and always puts 100% and was a fantastic speedster on the go. Without that he has always been clumpsy and dis jointed with the ball got nothing else... That hip injury has taken his x factor away

Yes... You could say we played better when he was off, but if you asked Chrissy himself, I'm not sure he'd call it a blessing...

A shame to see him injured again. I'd say he'll be on the sidelines for at least a month with the hamstring injury. Hopefully it gives his shoulder a chance to recover, but I fear Rowdy's speed may have deserted him at the tender age of 23.

Do you think he could make a decent lock Willow?

Alf I think you forget how good Rowdy was when he came back, culminating in great form in the Aussie team. Lawrence was in career best form after his hip injury. That is not the problem..

I blame Sheens. A terrible decision to move him to the halves.

Anyway, it's very sad just how poor he has looked after the injury. Now another hamstring injury again, will he ever be the same player again?

He was playing great at the end of last year after the injury and debuted and played well for Australia last year after the injury. How much more endorsement can you get?

I agree with GlennB.

Something has happened SINCE the 4 nations tour. He played well on the kangaroo tour. He hasnt played one good game since it finished. This is an off season problem.

I was listening to Sheens being interviewed after the game on ABC and he reckons Lawrence should be alright to play next Sunday.

I'm not going to write Rowdy off just yet

It's amazing , he plays for City in a backline that is functioning well and he looks pretty good

Does that say something to everyone

Our backline looks pretty bad at the moment

Maybe we need a half back ????
