Moltzen

Post by rossop » Sat 19 May, 2012 4:58 pm

Thought he went well and is improving with every game. Lets hear it from the Moltzen Knockers now. I suppose anyone could have scored the try that won us the match? Anyone?

If you look in the actual thread that already exists you will see the majority of people who are critical of his performances in the past have applauded the game he played last night, want to see more of it and for him to build on it.

Almost makes up for the 80 metre try he gave the Warriors

If only he could learn to catch the ball instead of letting it bounce...

x2

But I do want more consistency with the high ball, although lastnight I actually believe he tried to attack the ball more, he lost a couple that swirled around in the air heaps but he atleast tried to get underneath...
Losing it in the swirl happens to the best of them, happend to slater against the sharks

Jason he didn't let them bounce, the one that bounced next to him in second half I reckon moved more than a meter on the way down, it was right in front of me, he lost it, he didn't let it bounce, happens to slater too, eg, vs sharks

I think he is a gun player. I'm just not sure if he is a gun fullback.

To add to that I think a lot of the Sheens knockers look a little worse for wear now as well.

Point taken but you must admit his game is improving and if it keeps improving, as I think/hope it will, he will be a big part of a great team come the semis. I hope so, anyway

I had a quick look but thought I would make a Molzen thread. I didnt see one dedicated to him under last nights game

He is getting better each week, he still has a way to go but we need him and his speed at the back to be any chance this year. Benji pace has dropped off a lot this year and Rowdy struggling for form Moltzen is about the only one who is capable of running in a long distance try we were once famous for.

Still a long way to the finish post, I would be worried if Moltzen and the rest of the team were firing on all four cylinders. I bag Sheens a lot but in recent times he seems to be able to get his team firing at the right time of the year so lets hope he can do it again

Yeah he has hit form. A NSW jumper is just around the corner. Tedesco should start looking for a new club.

People have such low expectations of Moltzen that basically if he goes through a game not making a mistake and generally staying out of the back line and attack (therefore not stuffing plays up) then he is considered to have a good game.

He did play well last night, however he did let a few bombs bounce, which we can't rely on the bounce of the ball to go our way

His a confidence player and hopefully last night will give him the boost he needs to play well on a regular basis.

Surely you jest

If Tedesco isn't first up fullback I will eat my hat
