melb had the ball almost all of last 10 mins. any time tigers did, iosefa pretty much hogged it[/quote]

Exactly, I don't know what to make of Iosefa yet. Does some good runs out of dummy half, but he seems to think he is the team's main play maker after being here for all of 3 weeks! Appears to be trying too hard to impress, imo.
Sooner or later, next year has to be this year - Ricksen

That's right.

Still I didn't like his performance tonight. In saying that the hooker kept taking control when he shouldn't have.
I agree with that - every time Iosefa jumped out from dummy half our attack looked ordinary and without any purpose and took a couple of settler plays to get back in order - i thought Humble played a better dummy half role in just shuffling the ball out - it just goes to show how much we depend on Robbie.

Ditto all the comments about Iosefa.... Many times since he has come into the side he has jumped out of dummy half and floated across the defensive line looking to set up a play. The only problem is no one in the team seems to have any clue as to what he is actually doing which has resulted in him off loading in the last second and the receiver getting what can be best described as a hospital pass or him being tackled with the ball for a wasted tackle.

Don't get me wrong. It's good to see a bloke have a go but not to the detriment of what the team is trying to achieve, and to be honest the times he has done these things we have been in good attacking position. I hope in time he gets in tune with how the team plays.

In saying that, I have to question his signing in the first place as we have had Politoni in the system for a few years and by all reports he has been trained to play like a Farah clone.

Is Politini out of favour with Sheens?

x2

Benji made a few wrong decisions in defence, but under conditions I cannot blame him.
The only issue I have is that short drop kick. Anyway, genious minds think at a different level :)

Go Tigers

His long kicking game was first rate, a magnificent 40/20 to get things rolling, followed by several kicks that hit the ground, in great field position, between receivers. You could blame him for coming out of the line a couple of times way too quickly, but it's not that long ago punters were complaining about him hiding in defence! The bloke can't win.

On balance his game was decent, against a very well drilled outfit, away from home, in cold and drizzly conditions. He's human, he can't replicate his highlight reel every time he runs out for a game

Bingo. Bellamy knew they'd be up against it, and the large contingent of that team that is responsible for their week on week defensive effort was still there. Benji played a fairly controlled game and given the conditions and the opposition it was all we could have possibly asked for.
And she's turning cold, at fifteen years old,
Taken too much slow, minds gone out to sea on the P&O,
Don't know what to do, rotten shade of blue,
Another case of "stupid is as stupid does..."

Cuando llegue el día, y estoy parado a las puertas del cielo, será Dios pidiendo mi perdón...
